Our Fully-Furnished, Clean Cottage is Lakeside and Beachside. Beautiful Sand Beaches right out your front door like this one is hard to find, you found one here! Our 5 Lake Chain is well-known for fishing too. We also have a 16’ (fully furnished) ALUMACRAFT boat available for rent, so you can comfortably fish for musky, walleye, panfish, smallmouth and largemouth bass - all common.
Spring fishing-opener and Fall Colorama are Great Times to stay at Van’s Knotty Pine Cottage. During Winter you can snowmobile & or Ice Fish from your front door! The Bo-Boen Snowmobile Trail System crosses the Lake & there is access from our location! In fact, you can bike, hike or ski the many trails available in the Area because the NorthWoods is publicly held as National, State and County Forest.
Sleeping arrangement: 2 Main Floor bedrooms, 1 Lower Level bedroom, 1 queen bed, 4 twin beds. Also, a full bath w/modular tub/shower. Some cottage amenities include satellite TV, microwave, dishwasher, range/oven, fridge, etc.
Grounds are level to the Beach and Pier is shared with one other cottage. The lower level of the Cottage is insulated and has Lakeside windows. For chilly summer evenings and off-season visits; flip on the gas fireplace and get cozy. What surprises many visitors is the number of area golf courses - 14 forested fairway lined golf courses that will challenge any golfer. The Fine Dining (Friday Fish-Fry's) and Unique Shops in Eagle River, St. Germain, Three Lakes, Sayner-Star Lake and other towns are worth a visit! Keep an eye out for those antique shops too.
Our cottage is perfectly located between Eagle River and Minocqua - just minutes from St. Germain. Cabin time around here includes exploring the Sugar Camp Chain and the surrounding towns. Dam Lake is the largest lake of the chain - 744 acres. Outdoor enthusiast will find plenty of room to roam in the the Chequamegon National Forest, Nicolet National Forest, and more.
We fill up fast every year, so plan ahead and enjoy relaxation and fun at the Lake. Ask us for some tips on how you can live and explore like a local during your stay "up north”.
