Beautifully remodeled and clean cabin, situated on quiet, private acreage. Circle drive with ample parking so bring your toys (snowmobiles, ATV’s, boats, canoes) we got plenty of room. 1 1/2 bath. Take to the lake and woods every day. Clam Lake is in the heart of the Chequamegon/Nicolet National Forest and offers year ‘round fun in the sun and snow. Some of the finest cross county ski trails wind through this wild and scenic diverse landscape.

Glidden is known as the Black Bear Capital of WI. The world's record black bear was shot five miles northeast of Glidden. Did you know that The Northern Continental Divide is located just north of Glidden? You might even see elk! 25 elk were reintroduced in the Chequamegon/Nicolet National Forest near Clam Lake. Ask us about the Mural Brick Road too.

Things To Do

Because your northwoods cabin is near beaches, lakes & public hunting, the sky is the limit for what you can do. Bring your boat or rent one from a local outfitter. Full recreation lakes and quiet paddle waters are all nearby. There are There are 632 miles of rivers and streams in the Chequamegon. Boating enthusiasts will find few people on the 411 lakes within the Forest. Exploring from the cabin is easy: The Chequamegon/Nicolet National Forest and the Ashland Forest are located in the headwaters of the Chippewa River - formed by ice age glaciers.

Popular attractions include the beautiful Marion Park - the Park Pavilion here is on the National Resister of Historic places because of its architectural uniqueness. We recommend the Glidden History museum too. If you’re coming up north for Labor Day - the Glidden Community Fair is celebrated then. Some of the best and most scenic golf courses are nearby. Snowmobile right from your front door to well-groomed routes.
