Rise and shine every day to a fantastic view of Round Lake. Then end each day with a magnificent sunset and the loons echo. What you do in between is up to you! Romantic getaways are popular at the cabin - you can’t help but to decompress. Of course, you can speed thing up in the northwoods too: Mountain Biking Trails, Nature Trails and the Crandon International Off-road Raceway will satisfy.
Inside you’re welcomed by a country-decorated cabin. The full kitchen (coffee maker, dishwasher, microwave, oven, refrigerator, stove, toaster) is a big plus when it comes to saving money by cooking at the cabin. Prefer to grill up dinner? Nothing beats the flavor of food cooked on a charcoal grill. Need a break from meal preparation? Head to some local restaurants or pubs, 5 miles.
Sleeping arrangement: 1 king bed and 1 double bed.
With only a few other lake cabins on our side of the lake, you’ll have plenty of privacy and quiet evenings around the picnic table and firepit. For those cooler mornings and evenings, the snap & crackle of the wood stove is a welcome sound (free wood).
Round Lake is small - 67 acres. Perfect for pulling up the beach chairs for some relaxing time next to the lake. Use our boat and dock too! If the season is right you can do some wild Berry picking. Area public ATV trails stretch for 300 miles.
Lots to do right here in Forest County at the lake. Bicycling, fishing, hiking, and the fall colors at the cabin and around the lake are incredible. Gather around the warmth and comfort of the cabin firepit and stare at the countless stars.
Our location puts you between Wabeno and Laona, Wisconsin. A wonderful shopping experience in both Crandon, Lakewood,
and Rhinelander, nearby towns (antique shops). Wildlife may be seen as you drive around. It is 40 miles to Rhinelander and Antigo. Also nearby is Golfing, Miniature Golf, a Casino, river Kayaking, Winery, and a Whitewater Rafting adventure. Families will like Silver Lake Park for another place to swim and picnic. The hiking in Nicolet National Forest can’t be beat. Guests are known to visit the Kovac Planetarium, play golf at the Nicolet Country Club, and try their luck at the nearby Mole Lake or casino in Carter.

Beautiful Lake, Peaceful, Awesome Views, Friendly Folk!!! cindy mitchell - beaver dam, wi
We were looking for a place off of the beaten path, but still on a lake, for a week-long peaceful getaway while enjoying the Fall colors and doing some exploring and antique / junk shopping. This cabin was all of that and more! Super clean cabin outfitted with virtually everything you will need except food and drink! It's on a small lake that comes with a boat and electric motor. The fall color reflections on this lake competed with the loons as to what was the best feature of it. Close enough to Eagle River, Rhinelander, and a few other small towns with some great antique, church-run thrift stores, and flea shops/markets. On the edge of a National Forest that offered plenty of opportunities for exploring and bike riding. Have to have Internet - Verizon has a very strong signal in this entire area. We turned our smartphone into a hotspot and had fast Internet access all week. Chester Dzik - New Richmond, WI
