Bass boat, pontoon boat and motors are available for rent through the property manager (Hiller’s Pine Haven). Explore Lac Du Lune Lake with your friends and family! We have a dock with a bench where you can take in the views of the trees reflecting off Lac Du Lune Lake. This Lake is about 68 feet deep at its deepest point. Common fish species include bluegill, brook trout, brown trout, largemouth bass, northern pike, rainbow trout and smallmouth bass.
Land O’ Lakes is not only a lake paradise, it’s also a hiking paradise. The 1.5 million acre Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest has over 800 trails through wild forests and wetlands. The hiking adventures have no limits! The Ottawa National Forest stretches all the way to Lake Superior and offers some unique hiking opportunities as well.
Land O’ Lakes is where fun has no limits! Biking trails include the Land O’ Lakes Bike and Pedestrian Trail that is 12 miles long; And the Agonikak National Recreation Trail. You will encounter rare birds in this area; There has been 146 bird species reported in the Land O’ Lakes area. The Sylvania Outfitters and Land O’ Lakes Recreation have canoe and kayak rentals. With the canoes and kayaks, take an adventure down the Middle Branch Ontonagon River. Attention golf lovers, choose from seven golf courses in the area. The NorthernWaters Museum features the rich history of Land O’ Lakes!
Many guests refer the Land O’ Lakes a winter wonderland. There are miles of well maintained trails for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. All levels of skiers should check out the Land O’ Lakes Cross County Ski Trails in the Ottawa National Forest (approx. 7 miles of groomed trails). Only 75 minutes away is the Porcupine Mountains Ski Area - downhill skiers and snowboarders enjoy!
