Come on in to Cottage 3 and let your Shawano Lake vacation begin! Full kitchen (dishes, pots, pans and cooking utensils), living room, breakfast nook - all totally renovated including the wood laminate flooring. You’ll leave remembering the modern, comfortable and immaculate touches not typically found in resort cottages.
Guests can enjoy the 14' aluminum boat - free for your use. We also have paddle boards, a paddle boat and kayaks free for our guests. Picnic tables, charcoal grills, campfire pit and fish cleaning house. We have a number of life jackets available for our guests too.
Sleeping arrangement: 3 bedrooms with one queen and three full size beds.
Things to remember for a memorable lake vacation: Towels (bath, beach and dish towels). Paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, coffee filters). Charcoal and lighter fluid. Personal items (i.e. soap, shampoo, etc.) Fishing licenses!
Some of the most exciting fishing tournaments in the state are right here on Shawano Lake. The lake is 6,000 acres and is seven miles long! Plan on spending lots of time on the deck, docks and beach! If your group needs more cabins, our Wis. Resort offers 5 fully furnished lake cottages. Bring your fishing boat and dock it for free at the resort docks. We also have pontoon boats for rent - Schuster's Shawano Lake Resort is your best value in lodging!
The County Park is within walking distance of Cottage 3 and also has beautiful beach facilities. For unique shopping seek out several Amish and antique shops nearby. Shuster’s Shawano Lake cottages are just 90 miles north of Milwaukee.
Your family is going to love our relaxing resort grounds, lake views, beach and fishing from the docks.
Your cabin time in Shawano must include a fish fry! Fry up the days catch: largemouth bass, walleye, northern pike, perch, crappie, muskie, bullhead and bluegill. This is a great lake for panfish - the non stop action will get your kids hooked on fishing. If you just want to cruise the shorelines, Shawano Lake also connects to Washington Lake by a small channel - so you can explore 2 lakes. Like white-water rafting and kayaking, then head to the nearby Red River or Wolf River.
Since you book directly with us here at Shuster’s Shawano Lake Resort, we can point your 4-season family-fun compass to 90 miles of hiking trails, or 12 miles of cross country ski trails (explore part of the 15,000-acre Navarino Wildlife Area on snowshoes too). If your group loves ATV trails, then 20 miles of ATV trails and a "Riverside Challenge Area" will test your mudding skills. Shawano Country has many things to keep all ages occupied. Bring your clubs and take a swing at the Shawano Lake Golf Course (one of Wisconsin’s oldest courses with magnificent golf and superb amenities). Go go-carting, watch stock car racing or the Shawano Ski Sharks water ski show.
