Cottage 3 is spiffy clean and ready for your group of up to 8! It’s undergone a complete make-over: newly updated with fully equipped kitchen, custom cabinets, new counters, and a porcelain sink. Your neighbor is the 581 acre Pickerel Lake located in Oneida County
Take advantage of your private dock by bringing your boat (or rent one from us) - enjoy fishing and exploring the shoreline of Pickerel Lake. Guests can use the free Paddle boats and 14’ rowboats. End each day with a bonfire for roasting marshmallows and telling stories of how the big one got away. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye.
Sleeping arrangement: The master bedroom has a queen-size bed with antique style lamps. The other 3 bedrooms have double beds with cozy comforters and plenty of pillows.
Plenty of room for unpacking your car for a great week in the northwoods - the large, paved driveway provides near-cottage parking for your vehicles. Plenty of room in Cottage 3 too, 1,800 sq ft! If you need more room, your group can also rent neighboring Cottages 1 and 2. We have 3 lakefront cottages on Pickerel Lake!
This is how you decompress in the northwoods of Wisconsin: Grab your favorite beverage and enjoy the huge patio that spans the entire length of the house; dangle your toes in the clean water of Pickerel Lake while sitting on a private 30 foot dock; play board games in front of the brick fireplace in the living room
Chances are your group will want to do some local exploring. Since you book directly with us (John and Heather), owners and northwoods tour guides, we can make suggestions based on your type of adventure needs. Visit the Forest County Historical Society Museum, Northwoods Veterans’ Center, or experience a family-friendly Cowboy re-enactment show aboard the Lumberjack Steam Train
4 seasons of fun! Ride 405 miles of groomed, snowmobile trails that wind through the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. Trails take you right past casinos, pubs and restaurants. The Three Lakes Trail system is popular with locals. Spring through fall the ATV trails in Forest County provide riders with easy trail riding thanks to the abandoned railroad corridors.
Thing to remember: Linens, towels and toilet paper.

December 6, 2017 at 2:06 am. Nice cabins with excellent water frontage and beautiful sunsets. Perfect for fishing, tubing or kayaking in the summer months and perfect for ice fishing and snowmobiling in the winter months. We have been staying at these cabins for 30 years and have seen many updates during this time. If you are looking for a little get-away, check out these cabins. Connie Funk
