I stayed at this B&B for my birthday weekend and I absolutely loved it! My husband and I had stayed here 10/8 - 10/10; the weather was perfect and the changing leaves were beautiful. The innkeeper took great care of us, she did her very best to make sure we had an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The food was delicious, the decor was fascinating to look at, and the room was comfortable (albeit a bit cold at night since the furnace wasn't on just yet). If we ever decide to stay in the Eagle River area again, I will definitely keep this place in mind! Kailyn D
My first visit to the Inn was just what I was hoping for - a quiet, restful night away. The location on Carpenter Lake is lovely and a great place to swim or make use of the boats they have to rent. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I would be happy to have a repeat visit and with the cabin decor and public gathering areas, I think my family would enjoy it as well kathleend
This is a B&B. Nice private lake. Beautiful, built in 1934 and added on in the 70's. It is like a museum inside, so much to look at. We enjoyed spending time with Dan, the manager. Dan has been a chef for over 20 years. Personable, and made us feel welcome. Mike S
My wife and I stayed here on a quick NorthWoods getaway, and we couldn't be more pleased! Awesome rustic cabin takes you back in time to the way a vacation should be - relaxing and letting go of the stresses of home. The hosts were extremely helpful, recommended area restaurants and attractions, and took great care of us. Breakfast = Amazing! We are already planning our next trip. Thanks again for the experience! Can't beat the charm of this place. The original building was a fishing/hunting log cabin from the 30's. It's been added on but retains that cabin feel. Great breakfasts. The views of the lake are wonderful and the loons lull you to sleep at night. WINurse1
