Brickyard Cottage 3 is an open-concept “tiny house” set into the trees on a private lot near Lake Superior. This two-person studio cottage includes all the usual living spaces — a living room, a full kitchen, and a modern bathroom with a shower — all in a footprint of just 375 square feet.
The kitchen at Brickyard Cottage 3 has plenty of counter space and comes equipped with full-sized appliances, dishes, utensils and pots and pans. The sitting room has a loveseat, two cozy armchairs, a gas fireplace, a flat-screen TV and a collection of board games.
The central living area of this Bayfield cottage opens out to a furnished, three-season screen porch with a vaulted ceiling on one side and an open-air deck with a full-sized grill on the other. The screen-porch serves as the sit-down dining area with a table and two chairs.
Sleeping arrangements: This tiny cabin is an ideal, simplified getaway for two, with one queen-sized Murphy bed and a twin-sized pullout bed in the living room loveseat.
Our little Brickyard Cottage 3 is part of the quiet residential community at Brickyard Creek. This area has a special place in the hearts of the local cabin owners, and many of them live here year-round. The area is secluded with a private, natural setting where you can enjoy the tranquility of the trees, as well as the nature trails that connect the community to the lakefront — and the picnic shelter, fire pits, sand beach and marina clustered there. The Brickyard Creek community observes quiet hours daily from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am.
Brickyard Cottage 3 offers a great location in the Bayfield area, just a few minutes north of the city’s historic downtown strip. Bayfield is known for unique shopping, restaurants and art galleries, including local painters and potters, and an old-fashioned candy shoppe.
