Brickyard Cottage 17 is a secluded cabin in the woods within easy walking distance of the Lake Superior waterfront. This two-bedroom rental cabin is settled between tall trees on a private, shaded lot, complete with a deck, a screen porch and two reserved vehicle parking spots.
The interior of Brickyard Cottage 17 is warm and homey with natural wood paneling, large windows that let in the natural northern light, and a central fireplace with a real, wood-burning flame that introduces a nostalgic crackling sound and an authentic woodsy smell.
The main living area includes the furnished sitting room with a sofa, two large recliners and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV, in addition to the fully equipped modern kitchen and breakfast bar. A spacious screen porch provides a more formal dining area with a table and chairs for six.
Sleeping arrangements: This Lake Superior rental cottage has two private bedrooms, each furnished with a king-sized bed. There are also two full baths.
Brickyard Cottage 17 is part of a 70-acre residential community located on the shoreline of Lake Superior. This community is made up of privately owned homes and a few rental cabins, and enjoys a natural, wooded setting with walking trails that connect the homes to some great shared amenities on the water. Our guests can follow these trails from our property to a sand beach, lakeview fire pits, a covered picnic area and Roy’s Point Marina. The Brickyard Creek community observes quiet hours from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am.
Brickyard Cottage 17 has an exciting location for vacationers looking for a unique, northern Wisconsin, outdoor adventure experience. The region surrounding Lake Superior is somewhat wild and very beautiful with one-of-a-kind natural features that are sometimes only accessible by foot or by boat. Many of our guests plan to spend time on the extensive hiking and biking trails that wind around the lakefront, taking advantage of the elevated viewing points and amazing photography opportunities, as well as seasonal curiosities such as the ice caves.
Another popular activity is to visit some of the islands within the vast expanse of Lake Superior. From Bayfield, WI, you can set out on a ferry for Madeline Island, or take a day cruise to the Apostle Islands. Brickyard Cottage 17’s convenient location to the lake also enables guests to make the most of water-based sports and recreation, including charter fishing, sea kayaking and sailing, among many others. The downtown area of Bayfield is also entertaining to visit, with a diverse collection of specialty shops and bakeries, a bevy of local restaurants, and live shows.
