Sherry-It was GREAT!!.. The pictures of the place were terrific but did not do it justice... there were board games to play,.. books to read,.. upon arriving two deer welcomed our presence.... Very nice experience!!!!!.. Highly recommend!!!! , Shane-Great Little Log Cabin. Spacious and clean. Kitchen was efficient with all utensils. Beds were comfortable. Great cabin for a couple or a small family. We definitely would stay again!, Timothy-We can summarize our experience and stay at the Log Cabin Homestead in one word; Wonderful. Russ maintained communication with us over the entire registration process. Check in was brief and exactly as described. The cabin was clean and welcoming upon arrival. We elected to grill our evening meals at the cabin. The kitchen galley was well apportioned and supported every need. We enjoyed the grounds and being nestled in the woods. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Spent a lot of time just rocking on the front porch. We did venture to Minocqua and Rhinelander to explore. Surprised to see all shops and restaurants open for business. Felt comfortable with COVID protocols being observed. We look forward to our return to enjoy the colors of the fall foliage as well as, the serenity of a winter stay. I would highly recommend this for a romantic getaway in Wisconsin’s Northwoods., Lisa-We recently stayed at the cabin to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary - we could not have been happier with the cabin, the setting or the incredibly comfortable rocking chairs on the front porch. The cabin itself was very clean, comfortably furnished, and so well built (we were appreciative of the high quality craftsmanship). I’d read previous reviews mentioning the trails on the property guests are free to hike. I would highly recommend wandering these as it just adds to one’s appreciation of the setting. We enjoyed ourselves very much and hope to return., Dwane-We had an awesome 3 days! wish we could have stayed longer so peaceful, enjoyed the family time together setting around the fire and going to the beach just down the road. Cabin was very clean and welcoming enjoyed the jacuzzi tub! Thank for everything Russ & Kelli our stay was great made some beautiful memories with the Grandkids and we will be back!! :), Stacey-This place is perfect! Super clean, decorated beautifully, tons of dishes, trays, grilling utensils, etc. The front porch is very comfortable, the hot tub upstairs is amazing and it was a peaceful weekend for us to spend some time together. Be sure to walk the property and check out the giant swings. We will definitely be coming back! It would also be a great place for a small group, couples or a girls weekend!, Lesha-We absolutely love this cabin. This was our 3rd visit! It's the perfect place to sit back, relax, and enjoy a nice glass of wine. Thanks again for having us!, Tyler- You will not be disappointed! Every time we visit we leave feeling so refreshed. Cannot wait to return!
