From the misty morning sunrises to the blazing fires at sunset, this has been a wonderful retreat. We enjoyed the openness of the cabin and the land. Close-by trout streams and farmers market in Viroqua were highlights of our stay. This has been a place we hope to return to! ----D & B, Chicago, IL

Tom and Pam live on the property, and are available to answer questions, or even go on a walk-about or a float with you. We love to tell the story of this property, from the 12,000 years of human habitation, right to the present, as we continue to improve the stream banks, establish and maintain prairie restoration, and create wetlands. OUR CHARTER is to protect and enhance biodiversity and carrying capacity, and to create a means of sharing both an appreciation for and a profound sense of belonging to Nature.
