This unit is located above the main lodge and is a great option for a visitor who doesn’t mind trading a little noise (during our business hours) for a few extra amenities! Take advantage of the dishwasher and laundry machine in the building, in particular. For that alone, many visitors who are gone during the day are more than fine with being located above our main lodge.
Set up like an apartment with beautiful wood-paneled walls, the vacation lodge also has a fully equipped kitchen, including a coffee maker and TV. There’s also a large breakfast counter. It’s great for the group to eat a full meal together, but it’s also a good option that makes cooking a lot more convenient, when you are able to spread your space out as much as you want. You may want to prepare some fish that you catch from the lake outside, or you may spend the whole day out there swimming and heat up some frozen food in the microwave or order takeout!
The vacation home has two bedrooms! One has a queen-sized bed, and the other has two singles. There is also a bathroom with a shower and tub.
The vacation unit offers many amenities for visitors who are interested in getting some exercise while they are staying at their home away from home! Whether you want to play basketball, volleyball, or tennis, there are opportunities to do that here. There is also a nature trail that visitors can use to go for a run or walk, if that is something that they want to stick to while they are visiting Eagle River.
Visitors to Eagle River should definitely check out the many events that make the area unique for what it is! Attending the fall cranberry festival, if it occurs while you are here, is a great idea. It offers opportunities for families to learn more about the nature of the harvest (Wisconsin is the top producer of cranberries in the country!) and purchase souvenirs and produce. Every January, there is also an ice castle built by community members. The castle is a source of pride in the area and also adds a unique and Instagrammable element to your stay during the coldest months!
Visitors who are interested in trying different breweries and wineries while they are here will not be disappointed, either. Whether you prefer a dry wine or a craft beer as your beverage of choice, you should be able to find options with venues such as Mary Kate’s Wine Bar, Tribute Brewing Company, and a variety of others. For food that’s good for the whole family, check out Lumpy’s Sports Bar and Grill, Buckshot’s Downtown, or, alternately, enjoy some entertainment with your meal at Pirate’s Hideaway, LLC.
