The Jump Inn is a comfortable, two-story, beach house directly on Lake Michigan in Door County, Wisconsin. This wonderful vacation rental with its private beach and yard, is exactly the place you want to be on your week off. There is a requirement of at least a 7-night stay when booking this home in the summer months, and a 4-nite minimum all other seasons.
Jump Inn has 3 full bedrooms and 4 bathrooms; 3 full and 1 half bath. This home can sleep up to 8 people, so it is perfect for a family vacation or friends trip. The first-floor consists of a master bedroom with a queen size bed, private bathroom, and private access to the outdoors deck. You can also find a laundry room and a half bath, or ‘powder room,’ on the main level.
On the second-level, there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms with showers. One of the bedrooms has 2 sets of twin trundle beds and the other bedroom has a queen size bed.
It is also important to mention that the home includes a fully equipped kitchen, adjacent to the lovely living room. The living room has a comfy, sectional couch and a wood-burning fireplace. Additionally, there is a TV positioned right beside the stone fireplace. The view from the living room is truly hard to beat with its large, sectioned, A-frame styled windows looking out onto Lake Michigan.
One of the best features of this Lake Michigan vacation rental is its outstanding views looking out to the lake and sandy shore, from almost every room in the home. However, not only can you enjoy these views from within the comfort of the indoors, but you can also gaze out onto the water from the spacious, lakefront deck. The deck comes with a dining table, and just a few steps away, is the fire pit. The sandy beach provides miles to walk and swimming right out front!
The Jump Inn is located in Baileys Harbor. This area is great for anyone who is looking to enjoy the local history of northern Wisconsin, while also being surrounded by the quaint charm and breathtaking woods of Door County.
One of the top-visited spots in Baileys Harbor is the Cana Island Lighthouse. Not only are you blessed with stunning views of the 90-foot tower and its encompassing environment, but also a local history lesson! The lighthouse is now used as a navigational aid by the U.S. Coast Guard, but has been around since 1869 and was originally fueled by lard.
For a relaxing walk with gorgeous views, we highly recommend you take some time to visit the Kangaroo Lake Nature Preserve. This preserve is about 700 acres and includes a variety of bodies of water, such as creeks, shores, swamplands, and more. You can also find fantastic hiking trails and picnic spots.
If you are looking for a hearty meal with your family, the Baileys Harbor Cornerstone Pub will satisfy all of your cravings. The building itself has been around since 1886 and was turned into a bar in the 1920s, and gained its popularity with their Friday night fish fry.

The lake view was awesome and peaceful. We took many pictures of the sunrises and the waves that came in during our stay. A perfect Door County location for our family's visit, easy to get to all the parks and quaint towns on the peninsula. The home was very comfortable and is fully stocked, just bring your food and beverages. The peaceful backyard setting and view of powerful Lake Michigan is just beautiful. We really appreciated having firewood for campfires and the indoor fireplace also. The property is directly on Hwy 57, but you don't notice any traffic noise inside the house, and out back you only hear the sound of the infinite waves hitting the shoreline. Great communication prior to and during our stay. We would definitely stay here again!
