Sandy Shores Beach House is a stunning and spacious property right on Lake Michigan in Door County, just 1.5 miles north of Jacksonport. Sandy Shores is available for rent May through October with summer months requiring a 7-night minimum stay, and fall and spring seasons for a 4-night minimum stay. With miles of sand beach and swimming beach steps in front, this vacation home is truly irresistible!
This beach house rental contains 6 full bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms, comfortably sleeping up to 14 people. That means, if you have a large family or group of friends, this home is perfect for you! The first level of the home contains three of the bedrooms. The first bedroom has a full queen with a private, ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has two twin beds and shares a bathroom with the third bedroom that contains a queen.
The second level of the Sandy Shores home has bedrooms #4 and #5. Bedroom #4 has a queen bed with an ensuite bathroom, and bedroom #5 has three twin beds with a private bathroom. Bedroom #6 located on the lower level of the cabin, with two twin beds, one queen size futon, and a full bath. The house is also equipped with a well equipped kitchen and a living room that includes seating, a flat screen TV, and a woodburning fireplace.
This Lake Michigan beach house is an amazing option for large-group getaways, as the vacation home has both central heating and air conditioning to stay comfortable. Further, linens, towels, and extra blankets are provided if you don’t want to bring along all of yours from home. There is a washing machine and dryer. Outside on the deck there is a grill and furniture, and also a private yard, and a fire pit for evenings!
As the Sandy Shores beach home is located one mile north of Jacksonport, you are guaranteed an endless variety of outdoors activities!
If you are looking to enjoy the beautiful nature of the Door Country region, then we highly recommend a visit to the Peninsula State Park in Fish Creek. The park is 3,776 acres and offers a plethora of biking and hiking trails, along with an 18-hole golf course, and camping sites. This park also contains well-known landmarks like the Eagle Bluff Lighthouse and the American folklore Theatre.

The house has multiple sitting areas and plenty of space at the dining table, so we never felt like we were on top of each other. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The outdoor area was also just what we wanted - relaxing deck, enough yard for beersbee, perfect fire pit, and easy access to the beach. The beds were comfortable, the house was well stocked with supplies, and the checkout process was simple. We're already looking at dates for next summer and we're not shocked that it's booking up quickly.
