Sunrise Shores #2 is a comfortable ground level vacation condo located in Door County, Wisconsin, just a step away from the gorgeous blue waters and white sand of the Lake Michigan shore. During the summer, this beachfront location is available for rent June, July, and August where a minimum 7-night stays are required, allowing you to truly maximize your relaxation time. During the fall, winter, and spring months, the home is available for a minimum of 4 nights. The views from this condo are truly unbeatable, especially during the sunrise, as the golden sun reflects off of the clear waters of Lake Michigan.
This vacation home has two beds and two bathrooms, comfortably sleeping a total of 2-5 people. Each bedroom contains a queen size bed, and the living room also includes a queen size sleeper. If you are looking to enjoy a nice movie night, don’t you worry as the cabin offers WiFi, cable, and a Smart TV. There is also a full size kitchen that includes all of the appliances that you need.
Outside of the condo, you have direct access to a beach, which is perfect for swimming and any other aquatic activity like canoeing and kayaking. Further, there is also a gas grill for you to enjoy an evening of barbecue and s’mores in the fire pit on the shore.
Sunrise Shores #2 sits on a gorgeous sandy beach with miles to walk as well as the convenience of being right in downtown Jacksonport where you can walk to our general store, have coffee, enjoy restaurants and a fantastic bakery.
While staying at this vacation rental in Jacksonport, there are plenty of indoor and outdoor activities for you to enjoy with your family or friends. One of the top recommended places to visit during those nice summer days is Cave Point County Park. It is available to visit everyday of the week from 6am - 11pm. So if you are looking for a good spot to do some early-morning hiking and watch the sunrise, this is the spot! Another great option for an outdoors adventure is the Whitefish Dunes State Park. It is located on the eastern shore of the peninsula, and Cave Point County is actually an enclave of the park, connected by a shoreline trail path.
If you are looking for an indoor activity to enjoy during the colder months, the Door Peninsula Winery is a great option. It can be for both adults and kids, as there is not only free wine samplings, but there are also food pairings and homemade fudge available.
For those who love to learn about local history, the Door County Maritime Museum is a must-see! It is available every day of the week from 10am - 4pm. Additionally, you can even sign-up for a private tour, riding around on Segways!

By Mary S – We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was on the first floor - important for me - and was extremely clean. The view of Lake Michigan is amazing and although it rained the majority of the time, we found the peace and quiet quite relaxing. The condo was well stocked with utensils, cookware, dishes and linens. Thanks to the owners for sharing this "little bit of heaven" with us. We've already booked the condo for next year!

By Beth B – The condo is very well appointed, cute decorations and all the kitchen utensils one could need. You can open up the slider and the shores of Lake Michigan are right there. The patio is a lovely spot for coffee or late afternoon beverage. And the gas fireplace was delightful on the cool fall evenings. The only "downside" and it's a small one - the walls aren't super thick, so you can occasionally hear the upstairs neighbors walking around. But that's on the builders, not the owner/manager!
By W B – This property is fantastic. I love the lighthouse decorations, especially the lighted table. It is clean, has everything you need. Having a short walk to the beach was the best - the sound of the lake was just what we needed. A beautiful park is just a short walk away, Bley’s grocery was convenient, and the farmers market was an added treat. Kris was super helpful when we needed to learn how to open the door :). There was really not enough hot water for a shower before getting cold and there were only 2 of us so not sure how larger groups would fare. The patio and outdoor furniture are in need of a good sweeping for all the spiders and webs. Overall this was a fantastic spot for our friends trip and we’re sure to be back. You can’t beat the comfort, view, and location.
