Patrick M. Dec 2019. 1 mile of back road to sled trail. Nice , clean place on hill by lake. A bit tight to get my 35' trailer backed in but plenty of driveway for it. Would CERTAINLY recommend and rent again.
Carolyn C. Nov 2019. Spent a weekend in November at Loon Cottage with my boyfriend. It was a glorious, quiet, and incredibly peaceful time. Presque Isle was pretty sleepy at the time we went, but we didn't mind. We made all of our own food and stayed cozy in the cabin! We still managed to have a wintery bonfire outside by the lake. Many places to hike nearby during the day, as well! We tried Catherine Wolter Wilderness Area, which was secluded and beautiful, full of many lakes! Greg left a very useful binder with tips on just about everything! Very helpful, would definitely come back.
