Our Frog Hollow Cabin on Finley Lake is a classic half-log, two-bedroom/one-bath cozy cottage nestled under pine trees. The private pier is easily accessed from the level shaded yard. This lakefront cottage rental includes a rowboat with 9 hp motor so you can explore the lake.
The living room boasts a beautiful floor-to-ceiling, round river rock wood-burning fireplace. Wood is included for the fireplace and the outdoor campfire pit. There are large picture windows in the living room and kitchen/dining areas that let in abundant light. Relax in the living room and enjoy your favorite shows on the TV/DVD player. WIFI is also available. Check with the property manager about bringing pets.
The seasonal St. Germain cottage is comfortable in all weather with window A/Cs, room ceiling fans, spacious screened porch, and the wood-burning fireplace. The fantastic screened porch has beautiful views of the lake, a dining table with chairs, and wicker settees and rocker chairs. What a wonderful place to sit back and read, play a board game, or just listen to the sounds of wildlife all around you. There is also a large deck all across the front of the cottage with chairs and a charcoal grill. The fully equipped kitchen has a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, silverware, dishware, cookware, and cooking utensils. The kitchen dining room table seats four or dine on the table in the screened porch.
Sleeping Arrangements: Bedroom 1 - queen bed; Bedroom 2 - two sets of twin bunk beds.
This cozy cottage near Eagle River has wonderful relaxing spaces on the large deck running the width of the cottage and in the screened porch. Plus, you are nestled in a pine forest where you’ll be certain to see and hear the sounds of wildlife. You’ll find the peaceful setting just what you needed to recharge and rejuvenate. There are no jet-skis allowed on Finley Lake which enhances your sense of peace and quiet.
Build a fire in the outdoor firepit, grill up those campfire specialty treats, and tell your favorite stories around the fire. Walk out to your private pier on Finley Lake and watch the morning rise from the pier bench while you sip your coffee. The rental also includes a rowboat with 9hp motor so you can explore the lake or fish. If you have a larger party or families vacationing together, you can also rent the Toad Hill Cottage which together will accommodate up to 12 people.
Finley Lake is 108 acres with a 26-foot maximum depth. Pack your fishing gear because you can expect to catch a variety of fish including Bluegill and Largemouth Bass. The lake’s crystal clear water makes it excellent for swimming. Fish and swim off the private pier or take a row out on the lake to catch your daily limit.
St. Germain is a short drive away where you will find numerous restaurants and shopping venues. D’J’s Northwoods Family Restaurant is a local favorite that also has vegan and gluten- free options. Bring you bikes and ride the 12-mile St. Germain Bike and Hike Trail with stops at local businesses. You may even see a black bear in the woods. Once you return to your Vilas County lakefront cottage, relaxing in the screen porch or in front of a fire in the fireplace will seem like the perfect ending to your day.
