The Sunset House is one of two vacation homes located on the Sunset Pines property. The Sunset House is a split-level home on a spacious, private lot with level frontage and a beautiful, west-facing view. This roomy home offers plenty of areas for a large group to spread out, with private sleeping spaces and two separate living areas. On the upper level, the living room has large windows that look over the spacious yard with a view of the lake. The fully equipped kitchen includes everything needed for cooking and dining, a microwave and dishwasher. There are two large bedrooms and a full bath with tub/ shower. On the lower level, there are two additional bedrooms and a full bath with shower. The family room is furnished with a sofa sleeper, a second TV and a DVD player.
Guests may enjoy the outdoors on the sweeping, grassy lawn or on the raised deck with tables, an outdoor grill, a fire pit and lawn chairs all surrounded by mature pines. The 200 feet of private shoreline offers a sandy-bottomed swimming area. Younger guests can also enjoy the sand box, swing set and slide.
Sleeping arrangements: There are two bedrooms on the main level. One contains a queen-sized bed, and the other three twin-sized beds. On the lower level, a third bedroom is furnished with a queen-sized bed and a twin-sized bed, and a fourth has a queen-sized bed and two twin-sized beds. There is also a pull-out sleeper sofa in the shared space on the lower level.
Sunset House shares property with another Anchor Rentals vacation home, the smaller Pine Cone Cabin. The cabins may be rented separately or as a unit to accommodate up to 21 guests.
The Pine Cone Cabin and The Sunset House are located next to each other, so if you have a large group you can spread out in two vacation rentals. We accommodate family reunions, friends’ getaways, etc. These properties are surrounded by majestic pine trees and 200’ of shoreline! Fire up the grill and enjoy a meal outside at the picnic table. Kids love the sand box and swing set in the yard.
At night, roast marsh-mellows around the campfire. Both vacation rentals have their own private pier! Two unique cabin rentals on the East Bay of Little St. Germain Lake. Rent both properties together to accommodate a total of 21 guests.
The sandy lake bottom makes Little St. Germain Lake the perfect swimming lake. Beautiful views of Little St. Germain Lake from both properties. The lake is 956 acres and perfect for boating and fishing. Anglers can expect to reel in some bluegill, largemouth bass, musky, northern pike, walleye and small mouth bass. St. Germain has a huge selection for boat & watercraft rentals. Only a few minutes from downtown St. Germain where you will find a variety of dining, shopping, go-carting, horseback riding, golfing, hiking and biking options. We also recommend taking an adventure on the Northwoods Zip Line Tours and exploring the Northwoods Children’s Museum.
Winter vacationers flock to our properties every year to enjoy the areas top-quality snowmobile trails. There are hundreds of miles of groomed trails! Don’t forget to check out the Snowmobile Hall of Fame. Winter is one of the best times to explore the Northwoods. There are dozens of cross country trails and snowshoe trails such as the Awassa Trail, Madeline Lake Trail, Shannon Lake Trail and Raven Trail. If you enjoy hiking or biking, St. Germain is the place for you! The Heart of Vilas County Trail System (aka St. Germain Hike and Bike Trail) is 45 miles long. Many say that it is the most beautiful paved trail system in the Midwest, especially if you come in the fall!
