Tastefully decorated 3 bedroom home on the shore of Bear Lake. The kitchen is equipped with a portable dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, dishes, and pots and pans. There is ample parking available. The yard is a double lot and has room for everyone to spread out, enjoy yard games, and relax. The yard is a gentle slope to the lake. From the driveway, you'll enter the upper level of the house which contains 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with a tub/shower. The lower level contains the kitchen, living room, bathroom with walk-in corner shower and utility/laundry room. The lower level leads out to the yard, lake and private dock. Bear Lake is a 200-acre lake which sports fishing, boating, swimming, and water skiing. Two window air conditioner units help cool the house down on the very hot days. The house has wi-fi internet and Roku for streaming TV.
Sleeping arrangements: Two of the bedrooms have queen sized beds. The other bedroom has a full sized bed. The sleeper sofa (full size) in the living room provides more sleeping area.
Unique Features
Bear Lake Getaway is located on the north end of Bear Lake which is a 'no wake' area and excellent for swimming, snorkeling and fishing. The south end of the lake is open to speed boats, water skiing and jet skiing. Situated in east-central Wisconsin it is relatively close to IL, Madison and Milwaukee. Why travel way up north when you can experience a great lake vacation closer to home.
The outdoor amenities include: Boat dock/fishing pier, Row boat, Canoe, Peddle boat, 2 Kayaks, Charcoal and Gas grills; Patio with chairs.
Things to remember: bring your own bath towels, wash cloths, pillows and linens, (full/double size & queen) these are not furnished.

We love to give our guests tips on how to live like a local during their stay. We recommend checking out some nearby things to do in Waupaca county. Explore the multitude of parks including Hartman Creek State Park. Did your know that Manawa, WI (2 miles from the home) is home of the Midwestern rodeo in July? Iola (just 10 miles) is home to the Iola Old Car Show and Swap Meet, one of the state's largest car shows. New London (15 miles from the home) is is where you’ll find the Mosquito Hill Nature center and hiking area with it's 300 ft. bluff with amazing vista-views. While in this area, we recommend rafting on The Little Wolf River Rafting trips also. Appleton's Fox River Mall is a half hour drive.
The Manawa Millpond, offers a quieter fishing atmosphere: Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass, Blue Gill, Perch and Bullheads.
After a day of exploring Waupaca Co. return to your lake home and relax at the lakefront picnic table and gather around the camp fire.
