All cabins at Birch Lake Bar and Resort come with a kitchen setup so you can enjoy cooking your own fresh meals while on vacation. Or perhaps you'd prefer to order a to-go pizza from our on-site bar and grill. Bon appetit! Of course, you'll want to enjoy the great outdoors here, so consider bringing your food out to a picnic table to enjoy the sounds of nature as you eat. Our resort is the perfect place to enjoy the great state of Wisconsin! We have plenty of gorgeous areas available to view the lake. Our picnic areas are a great way to enjoy the great outdoors; just bring a basket and listen to the birds chirping! After that, you can utilize our fire pits to roast marshmallows or tell spooky stories around the campfire if you're brave. Either way, you're sure to have a blast!
Things To Do
You'll want to enjoy the local wilderness when visiting Wisconsin! Known as the "Badger State," Wisconsin has a wide array of hiking trails and outdoor recreation. Go hiking on one of the local trails, such as Germain Hemlocks State Natural Area or Bearskin Trails. Local wildlife includes bears, deer, and the furry friend that the state is named for: the badger!
It's almost mandatory to enjoy some time on the water when staying at a lake resort. If you want to fish, you will be excited to learn some of the local species are bass, pikes, and walleye. If you don't feel like trying to catch a big one, you can always enjoy a dip in the lake at the designated swimming area or build sandcastles on the beach. Just don't forget your sunscreen!
Just a short drive away is the town of Minocqua, which boasts plenty of shopping opportunities, museums, and restaurants. You can even try your hand at zip-lining here at Northwood Zip Line and Adventure Park! There's plenty to do for all ages, such as Wildwood Wildlife Park and Nature Center and Minocqua Brewing Company. Your group is sure to love the sights and sounds of the great state of Wisconsin! Caught bass, walleye, and monster musky right off one of the docks. The cabin was warm and cozy. Food was great (pizza cooked right in front of you). Bar and restaurant look new, roads and the launch ramp now are blacktopped (no dust). Thomas Downs
