Our Cozy Cabin on Nelson Lake is a quaint Northwoods cabin with accommodations for six, just eight minutes away from downtown Hayward. This quiet cabin in the woods offers a relaxing and secluded away-from-it-all vacation atmosphere, close to Hayward dining and attractions.
This Nelson Lake cabin rental has been recently remodeled by the current owners, who fell in love with the home and its unbeatable location. The space has been furnished in a picturesque Northwoods style with unique touches like the old-fashioned turquoise kitchen appliances.
The rooms are outfitted with comfortable furniture and beautiful materials, as well as some special little extras like the ping pong table, air hockey, a dart board, and a collection of board games. Relax by the real wood-burning fire with family and enjoy our large flat-screen TV.
Sleeping arrangements: four private bedrooms at Cozy Cabin on Nelson Lake provide room for six guests to stay comfortably on the property. There is one queen-sized bed in each bedroom. This home also features one and a half modern baths.
This Cozy Cabin on Nelson Lake has a wonderful location right on the waterfront! The shoreline at the cabin is not the best for swimming, but does have a sandy area where kids like to play. You can also take a boat from the cabin to land at two nearby public swimming beaches.
This home is pet-friendly with a great space for dogs to run — there is a limit of two bell-behaved dogs, and we ask that you keep them off the furniture. This “Up North” cabin also has two outdoor fire pits, filtered water, and much more!
Nelson Lake is well known in the area for incredible fishing in the summer, ice fishing in winter, and for being surrounded by fantastic waterfront bars and restaurants, all boasting a great view. Bring your own watercraft or plan to rent a boat nearby for full access to water-based recreation such as water skiing, wakeboarding, wake surfing, tubing and jet-skis. Very cute cabin! Extremely comfortable. We love the lake access, and the fall view! We would love to come back.
Great family vacation location! The deck flat top grill was the best for breakfast & dinner cooking as long as it was not raining! The lake access was perfect for our two speed boats, so much easier not having to trailer them in and out of the water everyday. Also a great backyard for yard games!
Seana was a great host! She promptly answered questions and the cabin was just as nice as the pictures online. The beds are comfortable, especially with the air conditioner upstairs. The stove inside wasn’t working quite right, but there’s two grills outside on the deck (which were more fun to use anyways). There’s a nice, big grassy area for kids to run around and/or adults to play lawn games. The water isn’t suitable for swimming, but we had a great time fishing off the dock and kayaking. There’s lots to do in Hayward and this cabin is only 10 minutes from town. This was a great place to stay!
Great cozy place with comfortable beds and a great outside deck with grill and flat top. Right on the lake with paddle boards and kayaks.
It was a perfect getaway. Seana was excellent with her communications. The place is a legit cabin but has two bathrooms that worked well. They have a small dock at the end of this peaceful cove. We launched our 22' pontoon boat at the public landing just a mile or so away and had no problems tying up our boat. They have a great fire pit and chairs right by the water. We roasted marshmallows and told ghost stories every night.
