Plum Loco Animal Farm and Egg Harbor Fun Park are always a hit. And if they're into animals, The Farm and The Garden Door are must-visits. Don't miss having your lunch brought to you on a miniature train at PC Junction, always a family favorite minutes away.
The Whitefish Dunes State Park just 10 minutes away has the largest sand beach in the County and miles of trails to hike through the woods or along the shoreline. Peninsula State Park is also in our backyard, 20 minutes down the road, offering hiking trails like Eagle Trail and Nicolet Bay Trail that wind through forests and along the shoreline of Green Bay. If you're into biking, the Sunset Bike Trail is a must-do, offering scenic views and fresh air.
Egg Harbor is home to some fantastic restaurants. Check out Shipwrecked Brew Pub for delicious pub grub and craft beers, or grab a slice at Wild Tomato Wood-fired Pizza and Grille. My family has a long history in the area, it's always been my favorite quiet spot in Door County.
