PLEASE - submit a brief description of your vacation plans, total number and ages of members in your group. Before we can accept a booking, we need to communicate with our renters to ensure that our property will be a good fit with your needs.

Beautiful Lake Shishebogama can be enjoyed from every room through our gorgeous Marvin windows (except the bathrooms, of course). Patio doors lead to the expansive deck from the great room and also the sunroom.
The kitchen/dining area is well stocked for all of your needs and has a charming dining set for 6 overlooking Lake Shish. There is a movable island in the cubby area which can be moved into the kitchen for additional counter space. And then, you can return it to the cubby area for more kitchen floor space (or not).
At the other end of the great room is a beautiful corner fireplace, flat screened TV and comfortable furniture which will make even a rainy day seem pretty perfect! Off of the living area is a vaulted ceiling sunroom with another sitting area and a birch tree vista.
Each of the 3 bedrooms has a king sized bed and a lake view from huge Marvin windows. On the first floor, one bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a corner shower and adjoining laundry room with washer and dryer.
The other 1st floor bedroom is unique with the bedroom at one end and the sunroom at the lake side end. The optional room divider can be opened to provide some privacy---but can be left closed to fully enjoy this beautiful sloping ceiling sunroom with wonderful lake views a birch tree vista.
The hallway bathroom, directly across from this bedroom, has a bathtub and linen/coat closet.
Now---let's go upstairs! An expansive family room has a sitting area, large screen TV, and a table for games and puzzles. A pool table is also part of the fun
Cabin time around here includes lots of wildlife, campfires, relaxing on the large deck and screened porch. The variety of fish caught are Bluegill, Largemouth Bass, Muskie, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass and Walleye. The lakes are full recreation, but jet skis and water skiing are not allowed after 8 p.m.
Nestled among pine and birch trees, we are conveniently situated on the south side of Lake Shishebogama, just off of Route 70. This cottage has access to a boat launch at our neighboring home, Shoreview Lake House, and we provide watercraft for your adventurous side.
But, you might want to just hang out on the large lakeside deck while the kids are playing in the lake, fishing right off the pier or playing games in the side yard. In the evening, have fun roasting marshmallows and singing camp songs around the fire pit.
The Shoreview Cottage is just 7 miles from Minocqua where you’ll find the start of the famous Bear Skin Trail for hiking and biking. The Northern Highland-American Legion State Forest offers 4-seasons of fun: Hiking, mountain biking, cross country skiing, ATVing. Your neighbor to the west is the Chequamegon National Forest! Minocqua, WI offers fine dining, seasonal festivals, a museum, and plenty of opportunities for shopping.
Paul and Kathy Eikedahl have been enjoying the northwoods of Minocqua with their family for many years! First camping, then renting rustic cabins and then purchasing beautiful property on Shoreview Drive. We also own the lake house next door, so if you need extra room, please inquire about renting both homes for the same week and double your fun!

Perfect setting as close to the lake as one could get. I loved the quiet times in the morning and evening, and the proximity to the island. We had a wonderful experience at the cottage. It had many nice updates. The view of the lake from the living room was beautiful. Two of the bedrooms also had beautiful views to wake up too. We brought a folding table for the kitchen which worked out well for more counter space. Kayaks and Paddle boards were included which was nice. The deck was nice and basically had sun from sunrise to sunset. Fishing was OK, we could catch blue gill of the pier all day if we wanted to, but on the lake we caught large mouth bass the most and also Muskie, walleye, northern pike and crappie. We will definitely be back next year.
