Your upscale vacation on the lake includes a spacious Living Room with leather sectional, TV with Sling and Roku. The 4-season room is a great place for the kids to have their own space and TV! The lower level living room has a Wet Bar, TV and Game table/Dining Table. This is where you’ll find the Walkout to the lake-facing patio with chairs and a charcoal Grill. Taking meal preparation outdoors is popular thanks to the great lake views!
If you prefer a kitchen with everything, our well-stocked Gourmet Kitchen will not disappoint. It has a big fridge, dishwasher, stove, topped off with a Granite center Island and bar stools. The dining room table seats 6 and 4 additional guests can sit around the kitchen island.
Sleeping arrangement: 5 Bedrooms: Main Level has 1 Queen Bedroom, Bath, Shower, and water closet. Upstairs are 2 Bedrooms and one Bath-Shower, Toilet - 1st Bedroom has Bunkbed and the 2nd Bedroom has a Queen Bed. Plus a 4 Season room with Sofa sleeper and TV. The Lower level has a Queen Bedroom and a 2nd Bedroom with a Bunkbed.
Our attention to year around indoor amenities features an open concept highlighted by a huge stone gas Fireplace and high peak ceiling! Comfortable leather furniture is in nearly every room! There are large windows throughout our Grindstone Escape Home.
Guest love spending time on the lake’s famous sandbar, playing in the water, and making new friends. Don’t have water transportation? Ask us about Jet skis, kayaks, canoes, and pontoon boats. With no stairs to the lake, getting to the dock and on the water is easy for all ages! Our Grindstone Lake frontage has crystal clear water and a sandy bottom. The lakeside fire pit is a great evening retreat!
GO FISHING! You’re in the Hayward Lakes Area so you know the fishing is going to be fantastic! Fish for Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, and Walleye. If you bring your own boat, there are 2 public launches.
When you think Hayward, WI you probably think Lumberjack World Championships, Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame (the 2 ½ stories Musky!), American Birkebeiner (cross country ski marathon), and the Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival (mountain bike race) - but the year around list of things to do includes lots of one-of-a-kind activities: Honor the Earth Powwow; Copper Peak's Adventure Ride; "Lure" of Lights Holiday celebration downtown; and the Musky Festival with live music.
Things to remember: Your own towels for both Kitchen and Bath. During Covid, guests bring their own pillows for added safety.
