This unique, 2 bedroom lakeside log cabin features an old-fashioned, mint-green awning and trim, giving it a nostalgic, summer-camp feel.I The open-concept floor plan features a kitchen, dining room and lounge area, all comfortably furnished for up to five guests and heated by a cozy wood-burning stove.
Cabin #2’s generous windows let in plenty of natural light, while the vertical log interior and exterior add to its rustic appearance. A single bathroom offers guests modern facilities and a standing shower. A hair dryer is provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, dinnerware and cookware. The lounge area features a flat-screen TV and DVD player.
Sleeping Arrangements: The two private bedrooms inside this single-floor cabin are furnished with one full-sized bed and a pair of twin-sized beds. An additional sleeper sofa in the living area pulls out into a full-sized bed.
Cabin #2 sits lakeside on a level, grassy lawn just feet from the water, with plenty of room for guest parking. Windows from the kitchen look out over the lake, and aged conifers shade a front porch area with deck chairs, creating a beautiful, peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Guests also have access to a private pier and the resort’s shared boat launch. A 14-foot aluminum fishing boat is available upon request.
Fishtrap Resort is located on Fishtrap Lake. 41-feet deep and moderately clear, Fishtrap Lake is a great place to fish. Guests can put boats in at the resort-owned launch or at Fishtrap Dam, and motor around Fishtrap Lake or the connecting High Lake and Manitowish River. 15 HP motors are available through the resort for $225 /week electric start,$200.00 pull start. $40 /day for a minimum of three days or $50 /day for a minimum of two days. Guests will also find deluxe fishing boats rentals, ski boats and pontoons at the nearby Boulder Marine Center.
