The Hideaway at Wildman Adventure Resort is a cozy, one-bedroom cabin located near the water at our Peshtigo River Outpost. This deluxe rental is ideal for a small group hoping to stay together in the exciting Wisconsin Northwoods and experience the natural scenery first-hand.
Hideaway is set between the trees on a shaded, private lot with a covered porch, fire pit, grill and picnic table. This cabin is equipped with satellite TV, wireless internet and one full bath with a shower. The open, studio-style floor plan features a central great room with a sitting area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a small dining table with chairs for four.
The kitchen at Hideaway is designed for no-stress meals, where everything is in reach for the chef in charge. Our open cabinets are stocked with dishes for the whole group, crockery and cooking utensils, pots and pans, and small appliances, including a coffee maker and microwave.
Sleeping arrangements: Hideaway deluxe cabin has one bedroom with four bunked twin-sized beds. The deluxe futon in the living area also pulls out into a queen-sized bed. Fitted sheets are provided, but guests will need to bring their own pillows, blankets and towels.

When you stay at Hideaway, you’ll have direct access to trout fishing and nature trails along the beautiful Peshtigo River. You’ll also be ideally placed to take advantage of our guided river trips on one of the Midwest’s premier whitewater rafting rivers. We offer group trips through the rapids — complete with safety gear and an experienced guide — as well as guided trips through smoother waters to take in the scenic shoreline and natural rock formations from our kayaks and stand-up paddle boards.
We love introducing new explorers to the Wisconsin Northwoods, especially if you love adventure as much as we do! We take frequent trips to climb the local cliffs, as well as sharing our onsite high ropes course and ziplines. Wildman Adventure Resort is a great place to host trust exercises and bonding weekends with friends, family and coworkers. We have paintball grounds, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, large-group bonfires, and slideshows where you can view your action shots up close.
Cabins at our Peshtigo River Outpost are also located just a short distance from the neighboring towns of Lakewood and Crivitz, WI. Venture into town early before your group gets started to visit a fantastic local coffee shop and pick up some fresh-baked pastries. You can also find a scenic golf course, some excellent restaurants, antique and gift shops, ice cream and specialty candies! Our resort grounds and guided trips are available for large and small groups at any experience level. We offer activities for ages five and up!

This cabin is reserved for guests participating in any of our 9 guided adventures.
Hideaway requires a two-night minimum stay for weekend nights between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
A deposit of 50 percent of the total price is required to reserve your spot.
For parties booking ahead of time, the full balance is due two weeks prior to your arrival date.
Last-minute reservations are welcome, but peak months sell out fast!
Cancellations made a minimum of 15 days prior to the arrival date can receive a refund less a five percent processing fee. Late cancellations or no-shows are not eligible for reimbursement.
**Since you book directly with Wildman Adventure Resort, these rates are not inflated by third-party booking sites. Owner taxes might not be included. Confirm final rates with owner.
