When you come and stay with us at Moonrise Manor, you will stay beneath vaulting ceilings and enjoy lakeside views from behind arching windows or under the shade of stately pines on a wraparound deck. Whether you go on vacation in spring, summer, winter, or fall, you will find that this big and beautiful home is here to welcome you.
In the kitchen area, sit at a cheerful table and chairs and enjoy a homemade meal. The chef or chefs of your group will have access to all basic amenities needed: a refrigerator, stove, and oven. And, of course, we did not forget the importance of a dishwasher! If you are someone who prefers to eat out, simply use the microwave to prepare leftovers from one of our tasty eateries in the Eagle River area.
The vacation home sleeps 10. There are two king beds, two fulls, two twins, and three bathrooms. There are two bathrooms and two bedrooms upstairs, and the other one bathroom and three bedrooms are downstairs. This house is great for two families or groups who want to spend time together but also to have some of their own space.
A great feature of this vacation home is the wet bar in the downstairs section of this house. The home functions almost as two apartments in one; let the family members who want to stay up late and catch up downstairs with snacks and drinks, while those who prefer to go to bed early will have ample space to do so without being bothered.
Eagle River, Wisconsin is such a great place for tourists, and we’re excited that you chose us as a place to spend your vacation. Whether you want to spend time in the rugged outdoors or relax in a public library during your time off, we have many different options for you.
Winter sports fans may already know that Eagle River is home to the Wisconsin Hockey Hall of Fame. To say that hockey is big here is an understatement. Whether you want to play pickup games yourself or simply watch a game to see how it’s done, you’ve come to the right place for hockey! If you’re here in the spring, summer, or fall, there are many other events for you to enjoy, too. Check out the Burger Bash in July, or the Cranberry Fest in September; the latter event is not just about cranberries and is worth checking out for the art, farmer’s markets, and more that will be set up during that time.
Regardless of when you’re here, you’ll want to check out the many nature trails by snowshoe, bike, or foot. You should also stop by at least one or two of our restaurants, especially if you’re from outside of the area, to try some of the cuisine that we have to offer. Check out Mary Kate’s Wine Bar for a fun and classy evening out. Or, take the kids to Hillbilly Hollow for some of the best pizza and sandwiches in the area!

We had a great time enjoying up north winter activities (snowmobiling, ice fishing), a walk through town to the shops and ice castle, and a walk in the woods.

We were able to make many home cooked meals, enjoy the Eagle River chain of lakes, see wildlife during the day and stars at night, and sleep comfortably. Recommend for groups of 10 or fewer.
