The inside has been newly remodeled and has a full kitchen (with coffee maker), an open living room and cozy bedrooms. The first bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has a full size bed. The living room futon can be used for additional sleeping space. The dining table overlooks the vibrant blue waters of Little St. Germain Lake. The living room has a 40 inch TV with DirecTV.
Located on a quiet road and right on Little St. Germain Lake. The wildlife viewing is excellent here. Keep your eyes open for eagles, deer, loons, ducks, etc. The sandy lake frontage makes it the perfect place to swim and splash around in the water. Little St. Germain is a premium lake that is spring fed. Great water clarity with a heathy population of crappie, northern pike, bluegill, perch, walleye, musky and bass. Fish right from the provided 12’ row boat.
The paved driveway has a basketball hoop (shared with neighbors). Nearby are restaurants and Northwoods Supper Clubs, go karts, bike trails, mini-golfing, hiking paths and hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails during the winter. If your looking to explore the lake, use the provided 12’ row boat or you have the option to rent pontoons, fishing boats and outboard motors through Hiller’s Pine Haven.
The fall colors and hunting opportunities are amazing in St. Germain. St. Germain is between the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest and the Northern Highland-American Legion State Forest. This means an abundance of wildlife and hunting in Vilas County.
Fun family activities in St. Germain include the Northwoods Zip Line Tour, Geocaching, Water Ski Shows and the Children’s Museum. Looking for a relaxing yoga experience? The Nagomi Yoga & Massage have massages, aerial yoga, hot yoga and SUP yoga. After a relaxing day of yoga, take a tour of the Three Lakes Winery where you can see how cranberry wine is produced.
