Tucked away on the shores of South Twin Lake, this beautiful vacation home is the perfect place to spend time with friends and family members while taking in the beautiful sights of St. Germaine. Whether you want to enjoy the beautiful lake when it is a beautiful, shimmering blue in the summer, or you prefer to witness the natural landscape covered in sheets of pristine ice in winter, the area around the cabin meets all expectations of picturesque natural scenery year round.
Inside, you will find tastefully decorated rooms that hopefully meet all of your cooking, sleeping and relaxing needs. Gaze out at a pristine lake from a large leather couch, or prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the large, open kitchen. You can also enjoy a variety of dining options, from a long, wooden table beside the glass sliding doors to a cheery back deck with a space for eating outside. Other amenities include a gas fireplace and an entertainment area with a flat screen TV.
The vacation home sleeps a total of 16 people, making it the perfect place for extended family to catch up together. There are two bathrooms and a variety of beds: one king, one queen, one full, two twins, one sleeper sofa, and one bunk bed.
Perhaps the sweetest deal at this vacation home is not the interior but the outdoor amenities that ensure you will have a great time on your trip. Rent yourself a pontoon or a kayak in order to explore the water, or go fishing off of the dock. See if you can catch something in the afternoon that you can then prepare on the charcoal grill for dinner!
Visitors to this side of Wisconsin who enjoy outdoor activities have come to the right place, and we are excited to have you! In the winter, you can go cross country skiing or snowshoeing on a variety of trails; we recommend Decker Lake Trail. Then, in the summer, you can go to the same trail for hiking and biking. There are also many other trails to explore and choose from, such as Conover-Phelps Trail, Heart Lake Trail, and the Langley Lake Trails.
Those who prefer a more watery approach to their outdoor activities should check out Torch Lake Park or Hunter Lake Park for swimming. Or, go fishing at one of the 11 major lakes along the Wisconsin River. Whether you want to simply enjoy some time in the sun with friends and family or do some serious fishing, we are confident that you will be able to enjoy your time here.
Depending on when you’re planning to visit, there are also many fun local events in which to participate. Eat or compete in the annual chili cook-off at the end of January, or check out a water ski show in the summer. Any time of the year, though, head to one of the many great local restaurants. There’s Buckshot’s Saloon and Eatery for good, hearty comfort food. Or, check out Burnt Bridge for tavern food and drinks.
