This beautiful home sits on 3 acres of land with 200 feet of private frontage. Kern’s Great Escape is the perfect vacation getaway for a family who enjoys outdoor recreation. Wade out into the water with a rod and bait to catch dinner for the evening, or enjoy soaking up the sun on the grassy lawn. The vacation home includes wood-paneled walls and tasteful yet homey decor that will leave you feeling at ease. Sprawl out with a book on the sofa in the high-ceilinged, brightly lit living area, and unplug from the world for a while. There is a large family room facing the lake and there is a second familyroom with a stone fireplace - perfect for chilly days. The kitchen area is nicely updated with newer cabinets and countertops. The kitchen includes a natural gas range with oven, refrigerator, microwave, and ample counter space.
The vacation home sleeps between four and eight people: There are three bedrooms. Two of the three contain one queen bed each, and the third contains two full size beds; please note that you will need to bring your own towels and bedsheets from home. There are also two full bathrooms.
One great asset to staying at this vacation home is that you will have access to a private boat landing. If you don’t have a boat, the pier has many other functions: It serves as a great spot when you go swimming; as a space to sit and fish; or as a seat to sip your coffee and relax as the world wakes up over the lake.
Please note: No more than 8 people are allowed on the property during the daytime or nights.

Clean and comfortable amenities. We love to cook and had all the needed pots, pans and utensils. Flat property was great for lawn games and easy access for my older parents. Would recommend it Krisrine S.
Well equipped, plenty of room, nice deck and dock and lovely lakefront. Joanne J
We spent a week in early August at this lovely place! Outstanding view of the lake from the large cabin yard and deck. Four adults fit very comfortably with the 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. It was nice to have a boat landing on the property with the use of two piers for docking. The large sandy area between the docks would be an ideal spot for little ones to play in. We enjoyed floating on floats in this area as well. Especially enjoyed watching the eagle family and their young and the family of loons on various parts of the lake. We found that both the upper and lower lakes were relatively quiet. Just a beautiful area! All in all it was a great trip. We would highly recommend it. Kathy L.
We were delighted to find such a nice, clean house for our family's week-long stay. The information and directions from the owner were excellent. The views over the lake were spectacular. Unfortunately, the weather was cool and windy. But the guys went out and fished every day, and we ended with two nice fish suppers. I really enjoyed the level lot since my mother has trouble with steps. Bob, the owner, knows the area very well and gave us two great dinner spots. Bob K.
