The Woodview is our most private cabin and is perfect for romantic getaways! It is our #1 guest favorite cabin here at the Kickapoo Valley Ranch. With gorgeous views to the south and fully furnished, we have everything you need to make your trip memorable. Gather around the communal campfire at night or relax on the big sitting porch and let go of your worries.
This splendid cabin comes with a king-size bed with luxury linens, as well as a queen sleeper to accommodate up to four. It includes a large, full bath and a well-appointed kitchenette with everything provided. The Woodview is a rustic sanctuary you will want to enjoy again and again. While there is no TV reception, there is a Smart TV/DVD player provided, as well as newly updated Wi-Fi everywhere on the property — just remember to bring your passwords!
Unlike any other vacation lodging in the Midwest, Kickapoo Valley Ranch’s laid-back country vibe offers peace and quiet to help you distance yourself from your everyday stressors. The resort grounds house a few horses and some llamas, and perhaps best of all — Cowboy David’s Special Order Bakery sells its celebrated cookies, cakes, pastries and confections just steps away from your cabin rental!
If you are looking for an experience off the Ranch, La Farge, WI has a wide variety of activities. The Farmer's Market is open on Saturdays May through October and offers in-season produce, plants, crafts and baked goods. For those with an adventurer spirit, check out the snowmobile trails with Kickapoo Valley Riders or hike The Kickapoo Valley Reserve, year round.
You can find horseback riding at Three Witches Farm and Stable in Readstown. The Sandmire Memorial Park on south Mill Street includes a fishing pier on the Kickapoo River, hiking trail and disc golf course. No matter what time of year you visit, there are plenty of activities for all ages.
