This modern, four-bedroom home in “God’s Country” — our favorite, scenic area of northern Wisconsin — is settled on a grassy lot near the edge of Shishebogama Lake, with a deck and outdoor fire pit on the lake-facing side, and a private boat dock down on the waterfront.
Our God’s Country Cabin has undergone a complete remodel with new finishes, updated furniture and a fully renovated kitchen. The main floor has an open floor plan encompassing the kitchen, sitting room and dining area. You’ll love these cozy living spaces, topped off with a touch of country charm decor and filled with natural light from large windows on all sides.
This home enjoys a private drive and large yard in a quiet lakefront neighborhood. You’ll love the views from the backyard and the open-air sun deck (complete with grill and bistro table).
Sleeping arrangements: The master bedroom at God’s Country Cabin is equipped with a king-sized bed. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed. A lower-level bunk room has two sets of twin-over-twin bunks, and the fourth bedroom is set up with a full-sized futon couch.
Aside from this cabin’s wonderful private-access lakefront amenities, it also has some upscale luxuries inside! One of our favorites is the jetted 2 person jacuzzi bathtub downstairs.
This quiet little country cabin enjoys a picturesque location on one of northern Wisconsin’s best recreation lakes. You’ll have immediate access to swimming, fishing, boating and water sports during warmer weather — as well as cook outs under the stars in the fresh country air.
God’s Country Cabin is also located just a short drive from shopping, dining and attractions in downtown Minocqua. The closest entertainment venues include the Minocqua Winter Park and Nordic Center, the Lake of Torches Casino, and the Timber Ridge Golf Club.
Also nearby, you can find the Lakeland Hawks Ice Arena, The Island City Antique Market, the Waswagoning Indian Village, and the Rock Falls Riding Stable — not to mention scenic hiking, biking and cross-country skiing trails. Call ahead for seasonal events and trail info!

God’s Country Cabin requires a 2-night minimum stay.
A full refund is offered for cancellations made a minimum of 14 days prior to check-in.
Cancellations made 7-14 days prior to check-in will receive a 50-percent refund, less the service fee.
Check-in is at 4:00 pm, with check-out scheduled for 10:00 am.
The minimum required age of the primary renter is 21 years.
This home does not allow parties, smoking or events.
Renters are responsible for any damage to the house or property.

Highly recommend this lake cabin for your northwoods vacation! The cabin was recently remodeled and decorated beautifully. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need! Extra family spaces to spread out. Kayaks, pedal boats and a rowboat to use on the quiet lake. They didn't leave anything out when remodeling this gem!
