Up North Getaway in Minocqua, WI, is a spacious three-bedroom lake cottage with room for up to 10 guests. This northern Wisconsin cabin home is settled on a large, private lot, right at the edge of scenic Shishebogama Lake — complete with boat docks and great water views!
Inside, the cabin is clean, modern and fully furnished with an open central living space. The great room includes a cozy sitting room with a large picture window and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV. There is a family dining table with bench seating and a kitchen island with four stools. The kitchen itself is equipped with all the necessary dishes, cookware and appliances.
This home has been recently renovated with new finishes and quaint touches of country charm. You’ll love the relaxing atmosphere and entertainment amenities, like our foosball table.
Sleeping arrangements: The master suite at Up North Getaway is fitted with a king-sized bed. Bedroom two on the main floor has a queen-sized bed, and bedroom three on the lower level has two sets of twin-over-twin bunk beds. There is also a full-sized sofa sleeper.
Our favorite aspect of our Up North Getaway is its peaceful atmosphere and quiet location. You’ll have plenty of space to relax and spread out, with calming views of the lake and lots of privacy from neighbors. This property has a level lawn with a fire pit near the lake edge, as well as a sun deck and two outdoor picnic tables — not to mention our private boat dock!

Up North Getaway requires a 2-night minimum stay.
A full refund is offered for cancellations made a minimum of 14 days prior to check-in.
Cancellations made 7-14 days prior to check-in will receive a 50-percent refund, less the service fee.
Check-in is at 4:00 pm, with check-out scheduled for 10:00 am.
The minimum required age of the primary renter is 21 years.
This home does not allow parties, smoking or events.
Renters are responsible for any damage to the house or property.

This property was perfect. The house was very clean and everything was recently updated and like new. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and there was a gas grill on the deck. There were kayaks, pedal boats, and a row boat available for our use, which were a nice way for us to get out and enjoy the lake. Simply fantastic. Large home, 3 bathrooms all with showers, tons of towels, bedding, cozy throw blankets, hair dryers :) pots/pans/glasses/dishes, cleaning supplies, full laundry, extra refrigerator, I could go on and on. The little touches like real plants, potted flowers on the deck (there is a grill), and tasteful decor made the house home away from home. The view from the master bedroom of the lake was simply breathtaking. Incredibly peaceful and serene in the early dawn and dusk. Fishing pier to dock our boat, host provided canoes and paddle boats (that is a workout!) The house was clean and I am picky about clean bathrooms! This was a perfect getaway for our large group of 7. Eagles, loons, panfish, bass, and I know there are muskies in the lake as I saw other guests' photos! Minocqua is a short drive — and all the other towns — Eagle River (Kickback Grill, previously Hiawathas — delicious prime rib, stuffed filet and coffee ribeye), St. Germaine (paved bike trail — so much fun! and of course Cathy's Ice Cream) the area has so much to offer. Michael was excellent with communication before and during our stay. He even helped us find a boat landing. The house was perfect for our extended family and the kids enjoyed swimming and fishing. The only issue we had was with the check-in time. Check-in was at 3, but Michael contacted me ahead of time and requested for it to be moved to 4. However, the cleaner was there until 5:30. She did not have enough time to finish cleaning and we had to clean a few things after she left.
