With beautiful lake views, Hidden Shores Cottage is a two-bedroom, one-bathroom rental. Our cottage can accommodate up to 8 people comfortably and is ideally set up for small-to-mid-sized groups.
Our kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you may need to prepare meals for you and your guests. This includes a microwave, electric stovetop plus oven, and a Keurig. There is also plenty of open granite countertop space to enjoy! And we have brand-new stainless appliances too!
The living room area lets tons of natural light in, which is perfect for group pictures or selfies! Enjoy our comfy pull-out couch, Smart TV and fireplace as well! We also have another living room area that is attached. The interior here is rustic and feels like you are in a new house. Here we have another Smart TV with a DVD player, more seating, and another pull-out couch.
The first bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a dresser for your extra storage. The second bedroom has another queen-sized bed and two beautiful windows that give you views of the nature surrounding you.
The bathroom is full-sized with a shower! There is also a washer and dryer in the bathroom as well.
Unique Features
Our cottage has a spacious private backyard that you and your guests can enjoy! We also have an outdoor seating area which is perfect for breakfast at sunrise or evening meals during sunset hours. You will also have access to our fire pit and our charcoal/gas grill.
Enjoy 100 feet of private waterfront access too! We hope that you have your fishing rods ready! You never know, you may catch your dinner!
Things To Do
While staying with us, you and your guests will never get bored! There are so many fun activities that you can experience during your stay. Sturgeon Bay is just a 14-minute drive away from our cottage. If you love history, explore the Heritage Village at the Creek. This place is perfect for viewing/learning about all of the historically significant buildings that are there and even visiting the Madden Tool Museum!
For amazing scenery check out Whitefish Dunes State Park. This place will make you feel as though you were on a private island. The views will definitely take your breath away! Here you’ll be able to fish, walk across the boardwalk, take memorable photos, watch waterfalls, hike and so much more!
If you want to go somewhere that has a beach, drive just 20 minutes to Potawatomi State Park. You’ll get to see incredible sandy beaches and enjoy the day relaxing and taking everything in.
Ahnapee Brewery is a great place to enjoy a nice refreshing beer flight! There are so many flavors to try but the seasonal flavors are the absolute best! We are only 3 miles away from there, so you can Uber if you don't feel like driving!

The cottage was wonderful. The scenery in the backyard is just beautiful. The cottage was spotless and it’s very private. The drive to sturgeon bay is about 20 minutes so not too far. If you plan on relying on wifi it really is spotty. Overall, we will definitely be coming back in the summer to enjoy the lake and all of the kayaks and bikes the host provides. Dennise D

My husband and I live in Green Bay and were looking to escape for the weekend with our dog. This place was perfect! The house is right on Lake Michigan (the whole reason we booked it) and the views are amazing. It's also pretty secluded, which we liked. We didn't take advantage of the adventure shed because of the season, but my husband said it looked awesome and had all sorts of things you'd want to use in warmer weather. I personally loved the hammock outside (with a cable right next to it you can use to tie your dog up) and spent a good couple of hours on it reading and taking in the views. It was great. Had a great time with our family. The views were spectacular and that would be the big selling point on why to book this property. The garage full of things to do is a huge plus when going with family. It may be worth asking the property owner where they recommend you launch the kayaks as the rocky shore behind the house makes that a bit challenging, but all of the other "things to do" are great to have at your disposal while there. The AC unit cools most of the house. (We didn't realize there were fans in one of the closets until the morning we were leaving, that would have been great to find on night 1, but we didn't go looking for them either.) We went with 6 people and that's about the max we would say for this house. If your target is peaceful views of the water and relaxing outside by a fire in the evening, got you covered here. Jeff B
