Located on the waterfront, Sherwood Point Lodge is a luxury log cabin with five bedrooms and three full bathrooms. Our cabin has three levels of comfortable living space that you and your guests can enjoy and is perfect for an extended vacation. Even though the cabin sleeps up to 16 people, we do charge a $20 fee for any additional guests. We do allow dogs on the property for a fee of $50 a night. We wanted this cabin to still have traditional log features but with a more modern take.
Our kitchen area is spacious and fully stocked with all of the essentials that you may need while staying with us. There is also plenty of countertop space to serve whatever amazing meals you create! We even have a bar step-up that provides additional seating if the dining room table gets filled.
The living room area has wide-open ceilings and large windows that let in natural light. There are multiple comfy couches and chairs to your liking. Trust us everyone will have a place to sit! And we also have a fireplace, that you can snuggle up by during those chilly nights. We have a game room with a large sofa, flat-screen TV, a pool table, and an arcade game on the lower level of the cabin. Our cabin offers a brand-new washer and dryer! Plus, there will be laundry detergent on deck as well.
Bedroom 1 includes a twin bunk bed and a twin trundle underneath. Bedroom 2 on the main level has a queen size bed and gorgeous views from the window. Bedroom 3 has a king-size bed, a private balcony, a private bathroom, and a queen-size sleeper futon, plus a baby room with a crib. Bedroom 4 has a comfortable queen size bed. And bedroom 5 two twin-over-twin bunk beds! We will provide all of the linens, quilts, and pillows. There will be one towel per guest too.
Unique Features
Sherwood Point Lodge has a massive backyard with multiple seating areas to enjoy the water and nature views. We even have an adventure shed filled with multiple kayaks and two stand-up paddleboards. 12 fishing poles, frisbees, outdoor games, and footballs.
You’ll also have access to the concrete pier to experience beautiful scenery! You can also go fishing down there and even dock your boat!
Don’t forget to take advantage of our spacious fire-pit that also has custom log seating! Picture yourself roasting some yummy marshmallows with your loved ones under the moonlight and stars.
Things To Do
There are tons of fun and thrilling adventures that are waiting for you to explore during your stay with us! Sturgeon Bay is a great place to visit for all of its charms! With so many attractions nearby, you’ll have plenty to do on any given day at our lodge.
Potawatomi State Park is a great place to visit first! The hiking trails are well worth it, especially if you want to see some beautiful landscapes. If you are into magical sunsets, Potawatomi has some great spots for you to view them on. You could even go out onto the water with a kayak and catch the sunsets that way too! There are also designated places for you and your guests to go swimming as well!
Whitefish Dunes State Park is another great park where you can hike sand dunes and beech forests and walk across the boardwalk to visit the wetlands! But if you want to do something more relaxing here, we suggest taking a morning stroll along Lake Michigan!
Now if you are looking for entertainment to fill up your evenings, head over to Third Avenue Playhouse. Here they have high-quality comedies, opera performances, and musicals! You’ll be able to experience powerful stories put on by local talent!

This house had everything needed for our stay. This house can sleep large groups. You will never get bored with all the fun "toys" the house has to offer. The rec room can keep you entertained for hours and if it is nice outside, there are plenty of kayaks, bikes and more to enjoy the beautiful area. The view of the lake was amazing! This was a beautiful home with absolutely stunning views! Our family of 9 spent a very cozy Thanksgiving at the cabin. We blended 3 households, this home had plenty of space for us to gather together while also providing spaces to step away to if needed. We loved waking up and watching the deer stroll through the backyard, while listening to the waves crashing down. We spent our afternoons hiking nearby and then heading back to the cabin where we found ourselves sitting by the fire pit in the backyard and exploring/fishing off the pier. Evenings were spent cooking in the open kitchen and playing games around the fireplace. Normally you think of Door County as a summer destination, but it was a perfect place for our fall getaway.
