The Pool Haus has two separate living facilities. The main house has 9 bedrooms, and the guest house has 3 bedrooms. Our property also sits on 9 acres of land! Here’s a neat fact, our rental is one of the largest group rentals out in Door County! This home is great for large family reunions, extended vacations, or even a startup company retreat for some team building.
The living room area in the main house is spacious and has a large couch, a pull-out couch, a flat screen tv, and a fireplace for your enjoyment! The large windows create a nice ambiance.
Featuring ample countertop space and all of the amenities you may need the kitchen is fully stocked! You’ll be serving up family feasts or group dinners in no time! You won’t have to worry about taking daily trips to the local coffee shops because we have a full café at your disposal right here in the house!
Bedroom 1 is the “master suite” which includes a king bed, a pull-out couch, a large en suite bathroom, and an attached baby room with a crib. Bedroom 2 has a king bed and plenty of room for your baggage. Bedroom 3 has a king bed with an en suite bathroom. Bedroom 4 has a king bed with an en suite bathroom. Bedroom 5 has a spacious king bed. Bedroom 6 has a king bed with a baby room and crib. Bedroom 7 has a king bed with an en suite bathroom. Bedroom 8 has a king bed and a pull-out couch for additional sleeping space. Bedroom 9 has three queen beds.
The guest house is fully furnished with an open floor-plan layout. Tons of natural light comes through the windows during the day enhancing the beauty of the home. Imagine yourself waking up and looking out of the window to see a gorgeous sunrise or sunset. The living room area has multiple seating and a flatscreen tv. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the necessities that you will need during your stay with us. There is also another mini café located right outside of the kitchen for your convenience!
Bedroom 10 has a queen bed. Bedroom 11 has a queen bed. Bedroom 12 has a king bed. We will provide fresh linens, quilts, and pillows for each of the beds.

Our home, The Pool Haus, not only has plenty of grassy land for you to stroll on but we also have a private pool, a movie theater in the main house, a game room in the main house, a basketball/tennis court, and a children’s room!

It’s hard to believe that so many fun attractions are just a short drive from the Pool Haus! There are endless adventures in store for you and your guests! Here are a few recommendations that will help get your adventure started. Tours are always a great way to start a trip! You’ll get to see some pretty cool sceneries and truly immerse yourself/learn about the different landmarks in the town or city you are staying in!
Death’s Door Bluff Kayak Tour combines serenity and adventure! You’ll get to experience this tour in a kayak and on foot!
The Door County Maritime Museum is super interesting and something that the entire family or group can enjoy! The museum even has an in-water exhibit of a restored 1960s tug boat!
Whitefish Dunes State Park is another destination that you must visit! This park is great for taking strolls along lake Michigan, fishing at Clark Lake, or simply walking across the boardwalk to visit the wetlands! The park also has tons of hiking trails!
Our home is just 15 minutes from downtown Sturgeon Bay, where you can enjoy amazing local restaurants and shop at local stores! Also, you'll be just 10 minutes away from Idlewild golf club!

Our Family stayed for 4 days at this beautiful home before Christmas. We had 10 people and our dog. The home offered so many activities for our kids to do. The game room was excellent, the Movie Theatre was great, and the house and guest house provided so much room for everyone. Very large kitchen and dining area for our big family. The indoor pool could have been a little warmer, but we stayed during very cold temperatures. The host Emily was awesome. She was very quick to respond and even prepared us a care package before the snow storm arrived. Would highly recommend this home to anyone. We will be back. Weston C
