Reviews

The owners are amazing genuine individuals who truly enjoy the land and the products they produce. Also some interesting history behind how they got started, naming of certain products and a cute line of corgi dog helpers. Great selection of wine and even more amazing beer! The fisnet amber ale is my favorite! We also took part in their glampung experience. Tranquil and cozy with a vineyard charm. Drew Hawley
We loved everything about our stay! We aren’t even wine lovers, but we loved everything we tasted. I am sure we will go back and buy more! We also enjoyed the glamping experience. They had everything you would need - electricity, a flushing toilet, a grill for your hobo dinner, campfire... Our trout came right from one of their trout ponds. They were SUPER friendly and kind! You must go and spend the night if you are able! Pam VanStraten
A Wonderful place for friendly service , good wine and beer and the freshest delicious trout. a hidden gem for a weekend getaway, THE GLAMPING is a MUST try. My husband and I ENJOYED A DELICIOUS TROUT DINNER TO GRILL UP OURSELVES. this morning enjoying our wake up complete with a vineyard sunrises and homemade breakfast. Helen Lubawski
Great local winery with a nice cozy atmosphere, wines are delicious, with something for every taste! If you find yourself in the area, I recommend stopping! Bret Menuier
This winery is absolutely beautiful and adorable at the same time. The wine they offer is by far some of the best around Brown County. The have swans, chickens, trout ponds, hatchery, 2 adorable fun Corgi's, a beautiful little cabin you can rent overnight, and not to mention Andrea and Steve the most amazing hosts and owners. Was planning on maybe buying 1 bottle, ended up with 6 and a wine chocolate bar. I will definitely be going back for more!!!! Thank you guys for cheering me up and making my day one never to forget. About the Owner/Manager

Meet------ Steve De Baker, an enterprising spirit known for bringing dreams to life. From founding Trout Springs Winery within the diverse Branch River Farms to my eclectic ventures since high school, entrepreneurship runs deep. Branch River Farms, encompassing Branch River Trout Hatchery and the acclaimed winery, is my brainchild. Alongside Steve is Andrea De Baker, a nurturing force with a green thumb, over the top cook, overseeing the winery's daily operations. We also offer a unique retreat – the Little Cabin in the Vineyard, available for rent. This cozy haven amidst our vineyard epitomizes our commitment to hospitality and the spirit of our family-owned establishment. We want you to feel like you are at home away from home.
Steve was the driving force behind establishing the Wisconsin Ledge AVA. This petition to the Federal government took 7 long years to accomplish, and is now the 12th largest AVA in the US. It encompasses just under 2.5 million acres and includes 24 other bonded wineries. Trout Springs Winery was recognized with congressional record as the Birthplace of the Wisconsin Ledge AVA in 2012.
This recognition by the Federal government puts Wisconsin on the map as one of the unique grape-growing regions in the world.
