Inside you’ll be greeted by a bright & breezy open concept living area, a recently renovated and fully equipped kitchen, and a living room with incredibly comfortable couches - Welcome Home:) Dining room table seats 6 (with leaf). The lakeside of the house has a concrete slab patio with patio furniture (your haven in the afternoons), Picnic table, spacious backyard.
Sleeping arrangement: Master: queen bed. Second: queen bed. Third: queen bed. Queen-size pullout couch. 3 bedrooms have been recently updated. Bathroom has a tub/shower combo.
Cottage 2 is one of 3 cottages we own on the lake. They are right next to each other, so if you need more room for family and friends, you can rent 2 or all 3 and everyone can still enjoy a Pickerel Lake vacation together. All 3 cottages are located on a quiet, dead end, paved street. This is a great opportunity to live the lake-life without having to “rough it”.
Guests tell us their vacation memories include ghost stories after dark around the fire pit, Grilling burgers on the charcoal grill, jumping off the end of the dock into the lake, making sandcastles, using the complementary paddle boats and 14′ rowboats.
Besides great fishing on Pickerel Lake, you can head to nearby Wolf, Lily, Pickerel Rivers for Trout. The Wolf River is also known for rafting and canoeing. Cottage 2 is available year around so if you like winter sports like snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, down-hill skiing, then the Nicolet National Forest won’t disappoint. The Mountain Biking, ATV, and hiking trails are outstanding. We think the Parrish/Highlands ATV trail offers beautiful scenery along Pickerel Lake.
Other alluring events nearby include the Rhinelander Hodag Festival, Mole Lake Casino, Crandon International Off-Road Raceway. Up for a waterfall day tour? Brownstone Falls, Bond Falls (one of our favorites), AgateFalls, Gabbro Falls, and many more dot the landscape between here and Upper Michigan.

December 6, 2017 at 2:06 am. Nice cabins with excellent water frontage and beautiful sunsets. Perfect for fishing, tubing or kayaking in the summer months and perfect for ice fishing and snowmobiling in the winter months.
