Use the spacious kitchen to prep full meals or a quick snack between dips in the lake - 4 can sit at the dining table. Refrigerator, Utensils, Coffee Maker, Microwave, Toaster, Cookware. Step outside on the deck/patio and prepare dinner on the Outdoor Charcoal Grill. With the beauty of Lake Chippewa as a backdrop, we know your vacation will include relaxing, recharging and reconnecting with friends and family.
Sleeping arrangement: Bedroom 1 has 1 Queen bed. Bedroom 2 has a double bed and twin bed. Sun porch has a twin bed. Living Room has a futon.
As with all of our managed properties, Little House In The Big Woods meets our Best Practice Covid Cleaning protocols. Cleaned and linens are laundered commercially. Easy access to the Chippewa Flowage and the ATV / Snowmobile trails run right by this home - ride right from your Hayward cabin! Away From It All is part of the old Dun Rovin Resort and offers a very private and peaceful retreat. What a great base camp for exploring the Chequamegon National Forest.

Fishing, jet skiing, water skiing, swimming, and water tubing are all waiting for you at Wisconsin’s third-largest lake - a true world-class fishery and home to the world-record muskellunge – a 69-pound, 11-ounce monster! Walleye, black crappie, muskellunge, and bluegill are the most popular species, but you’ll also find yellow perch and smallmouth bass. Bring your favorite fish fry breading and eat up.

Excellent home. Stayed 3 days ending in October, 2020. Lean and very comfortable. Plenty of kitchen equipment, plates, flatware, etc. Comfortable beds, and living room furniture. Nice satellite television as well. Close to Hayward, and all the area attractions. Tom Y from Weston, WI
