Oak Ridge Lake House is a unique, modern vacation rental located on the shoreline of the Chippewa Flowage in Hayward, WI. This furnished luxury waterfront getaway in Northern Wisconsin comes complete with outdoor decks and seating and private lake access via your own pier.
With four bedrooms and two full baths — not to mention a spacious great room, a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of dining space, and a separate gaming/recreation room —Oak Ridge Lake House can accommodate up to 12 guests comfortably. Perfect for a retreat with family or friends!
Outside, Oak Ridge Lake House has a deck looking out on the water, with plenty of privacy from tall trees. A wooden staircase with a railing leads down to the water’s edge, where you can store your own watercraft, fish from the dock, or just sit out in lawn chairs and enjoy the view.
With 180-degree views of the Chippewa Flowage, the rooms at Oak Ridge Lake House are filled with natural light from large windows. Bedroom configuration includes two rooms with Queen beds and one with a king bed, the bunk room has two twin over full bunks. This bunk room is shared with the Foosball table and TV. We provide bed linens, as well as in-unit laundry facilities.
Oak Ridge Lake House has plenty of off-street parking for multiple vehicles and trailers. We also have pontoon rentals available onsite! Just ask us during booking, and we can have your pontoon tied up at your dock and ready to go when you arrive.
NOTE: This cabin rental allows dogs for an extra fee.
A Note About Dogs: We LOVE dogs and we want our guests to enjoy their vacation with the whole family, including the furry members :-) That being said, please be mindful of whether our home is appropriate for your dog(s).We may not be the vacation rental for you if your dog(s):
*Consider barking to be a favorite pastime
*Chew things other than bones
*Like to visit the neighbors unsupervised (we do not have a fenced-in yard)
*Use the house as a bathroom.
We supply a crate for a Large size dog. We ask that your dogs be supervised when at the cabin and crated when you are not.
Also, it should not need to be said (but unfortunately needs to be, as we have had guests leave enough surprises for us), but pick up after your dogs!! It is NOT the responsibility of our cleaners.
Oak Ridge Lake House enjoys private access to the Chippewa Flowage via the docking pier on Chief Lake, just down the channel from Pat’s Landing.
The Flowage is known for excellent fishing, with 17,000 acres of water, more than 140 islands, and over 200 miles of shoreline. Common catches on our waters include walleye, musky, crappie, pan fish and smallmouth bass. During the spring and fall, you may have good luck fishing right off the dock for pan fish.
Oak Ridge Lake House is also just 15 minutes away by car from downtown Hayward, WI. There is a convenient grocery and superstore, as well as mini golf, go-karts, a local casino and the National Fishing Museum — not to mention unique local shops and restaurants!
