Olson Bay Getaway is a luxury waterfront vacation rental located on the edge of Lake Koshkonong in southern Wisconsin. This beautiful four-bedroom home offers accommodations for up to 12 guests, on a quiet, private lot with a large grassy lawn and a private boat dock.
From your view atop the Getaway’s deck, you can see this property’s tall trees and the gentle slope leading up to the water’s edge. Outdoor amenities include a gas grill, outdoor dining space, a fire pit, a sandy shoreline that’s great for swimming, private dock and plenty of lounge chairs.
Inside, Olson Bay Getaway features a spacious open floor plan with shared central living spaces on the main level. These included a cozy sitting area with plush sofas gathered around the fireplace. There is also a full kitchen and a family-style dining area with seating for six and stools around the bar.
Sleeping arrangements: The lodge has one bedroom on the main floor, furnished with a queen-sized bed, and with an attached full bath. On the upper level, there are three more guest rooms: two with queen-sized beds and one bunk room with a futon and two bunk beds with four twin-sized beds.
Olson Bay Getaway has vaulted ceilings and a full wall of windows on the lake-facing side. This created open views from both levels of the house, bringing the outdoors in and filling the rooms with natural light. The home also makes the most of its special location with the boat dock, the fire pit, the Adirondack chairs, and the deck.
This cabin’s prime location on Lake Koshkonong opens your vacation days to 10,000 acres of recreational water in southern Wisconsin — perfect for swimming, fishing, boating, water skiing, tubing, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and more. The lake is lined by waterfront restaurants that are accessible by boat or car. Other fun attractions in the area include great shopping and local winery tours.
The lake also attaches to the Rock River, so you can boat all the way from the cabin to the Indianford Dam, viewing the stunning scenery and beautiful homes all along the way.
