Welcome to Muskellunge Lake Cabin, a wonderful getaway that is located at the halfway mark between Rhinelander and Minocqua as well as only a ten minute drive away from the town of Lake Tomahawk, WI. If you are in search of a peaceful place that truly feels like home away from home then you have come to the right place!
This remodeled main cabin & the separate newly constructed studio apartment offers flexibility in group size. Enjoy your own pier with swimming platform on the beautiful sand frontage of lake Muskellunge. This property is unique, in its heavily wooded scenery with hardwoods and pines; truly a phenomenal place for all outdoor lovers!
Sleeping arrangements at Muskellunge Lake Cabin include room for up to 5 people (perfect for families) in main cabin. Main cabin has 1 bath, 1 bedroom with king bed, plus loft with 3 twin beds.
There is a separate studio apt above the garage that has two queen futon couch/beds. Perfect if extra space is needed for an additional fee.
Guests bring their own bath towels, sheets and pillow covers. Blankets are provided.
Pets are allowed with permission to assure all are included in making this cabin feel like home. We have boats available for use: 12’ Canoe (Old Town), two person kayak (Old Town). We also have adult and child life jackets available! This cabin is located on such a mesmerizing and peaceful lake.
Our Cabin is closest to the town of Lake Tomahawk, (about 12 mins). And equidistant between Rhinelander or Minocqua, WI (25-30 mins).
If you are looking for some amazing grilling meats head to the famous meat market in Lake Tom! Lake Tom has ice cream, restaurants, hardware and convenience store gas station and is a wonderful place to check out.
There are many nice MTB trails in the area (Mud lake, Zip line, Raven, WinMan and others) and beautiful back roads for other riding.
From, hiking State trails, fishing, checking out historical museums to eating from any of the delicious local restaurants we are positive that you will enjoy all the adventures and make many memories that you can forever cherish!

Just letting you know we've just returned home from our vacation at your cabin on Muskellunge Lake. We really enjoyed our trip. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and the lake was as peaceful as you described it. We caught a bunch of fish... 10 northern pike and 12 bass (in the real-fish category) via the boat, and a bunch of bluegill/sunfish/perch off of the dock. Many eagles and the calls of the loons helped remind us everyday of how close to nature we really were. Everything at the cabin was in working order and made our trip enjoyable. We've owned camp muskellunge for 15 yrs, and have
made many improvements to make it a wonderful place to visit. If you like a quite end of road peaceful place in the woods with beautiful sunsets then this a place you will enjoy.
