The Pacific Yurt at Wildman Adventure Resort’s Peshtigo River Outpost is the ultimate Northwoods “glamping” experience. This one-bedroom abode is a modern take on an ancient shelter system used for centuries by the nomadic peoples of Central Asia.
Our modern Yurt offers the best of both worlds — you’ll be sheltered from the elements, but free to enjoy the closeness of nature and a view of the stars through a built-in skylight. The Pacific Yurt features a queen-sized bed and a queen-sized futon to accommodate up to four overnight guests. The Yurt also has a coffee table and a mini-fridge. Enjoy the sound of the babbling creek underneath the Yurt and it's surrounding raised deck and walkway
Though this rustic resort rental doesn’t have its own interior bathroom, it is located close by the shared resort facilities and shower house. This home is also equipped with its own outdoor fire pit and wireless internet. Guests staying at the Pacific Yurt will need to bring their own pillows, blankets, and bath towels.
As with all our rental cabins at Wildman Adventure Resort, the Pacific Yurt is reserved for use by guests who plan to take advantage of our guided adventure activities. We offer onsite guides and adventure packages to give you a hassle-free outdoor adventure experience of your choice.

Guests at the Pacific Yurt have full access to resort amenities including shower facilities, complimentary Wi-Fi, sports courts and yard games, nature trails, fire pits, and picnic tables. You’ll be within walking distance to the Peshtigo River, which means access to the sights and sounds of the Peshtigo's famous rapids.
We also offer onsite gathering points for exciting outdoor adventures, with knowledgeable guides to keep your group safe and on track. Tour the treetops on a scenic Wisconsin zipline course, or test your nerve with two different climbing opportunities. We also have guided kayak tours, stand-up paddle boards, and white water rafting on two of the top-rated Midwest rafting rivers. Our adventures can be tailored to any skill group for ages five years and up.
Our Pacific Yurt and Peshtigo River Outpost are situated in a rustic, wooded spot outside the cities of Lakewood, WI, and Crivitz, WI. Head into town after a long day in the wild to gather coffees, ice cream, baked goods, and specialty candies, or browse the antiques and gift shops. There are also some nice restaurants in the area, and a scenic local golf course.

This Pacific Yurt is reserved for guests participating in any of our 9 guided adventures.
The Pacific Yurt requires a two-night minimum stay for weekend nights between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
A deposit of 50 percent of the total price is required to reserve your spot.
For parties booking ahead of time, the full balance is due two weeks prior to your arrival date.
Last-minute reservations are welcome, but peak months sell out fast!
Cancellations made a minimum of 15 days prior to the arrival date can receive a refund less a five percent processing fee. Late cancellations or no-shows are not eligible for reimbursement.
**Since you book directly with Wildman Adventure Resort, these rates are not inflated by third-party booking sites. Owner taxes might not be included. Confirm final rates with owner.
