FAJAS Hideaway is a vintage 1900s-era log cabin offering accommodations for six on Little Round Lake. This charming waterfront getaway in Hayward, WI, is settled on a sun-dappled lot beneath the trees with a great view from a raised vantage point.
The interior of the cabin is finished in real hardwood giving the entire abode a warm golden hue. The main living area is small and cozy with reading chairs gathered around an old-fashioned stone hearth. There is a dining table off to the side with seating for six.
In a separate room, guests will find the fully equipped equipped kitchen. This single-story cottage also has two private bedrooms, a full bath and a furnished screen porch — make a cup of coffee and settle in to enjoy the morning air and the sounds of the lake.
Sleeping arrangements: One bedroom at FAJAS Hideaway is furnished with a queen-sized bed, and the other has two twin-sized beds. There is also a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living area, for a total capacity of six overnight guests.
NOTE: Towels are not provided at this property.
Unique Features
FAJAS Hideaway shares a large, level and grassy lot with its sister cabin, Eagle’s Landing. These cabins can be rented separately or together to accommodate a large or multifamily group. The total capacity of the combined cabins is 11 overnight guests. Vacationers enjoying either cabin (or both) have access to private docks on Little Round Lake in Hayward, WI, as well as great fishing and swimming, and an outdoor fire pit. FAJAS Hideaway even offers the complimentary use of two kayaks!
Things To Do
From FAJAS Hideaway’s prime location at the edge of 179-acre Little Round Lake, visitors can enjoy the clear water and excellent fishing. With a maximum depth of 38 feet, Little Round Lake is a known habitat for a variety of game fish including musky, panfish, large and smallmouth bass, walleye and northern pike.
The cabin is also conveniently located to the downtown area of popular Northwoods touristing spot Hayward, Wisconsin. Hayward is home to a bevy of locally owned restaurants and unique shops, regional museums, a couple of scenic golf courses and other family-friendly attractions such as the historic Lumberjack Village.
While you’re here, you may also want to spend a day exploring the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame, the local Farmer’s Market or the CAMBA hiking and biking trails that wind for hundreds of miles through the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. Visitors can pack light and rent outdoor adventure equipment from local suppliers.

No Off Season Rentals (October-May)
During peak season (Memorial Day through Labor Day), Faja's rents on a weekly-only basis. Weekly rentals run Saturday to Saturday.
Sales tax of 9.5 percent will be added to all rental rates, along with a $79.13 booking fee (includes tax).
A $100 cleaning fee to be added to all rentals.
A refundable damage deposit of half the rent is required on the day of arrival.
