You’ll love the original, warm wood interior that the main living area boasts, as well as the rustic wood-burning stone fireplace. The cabin’s large gleaming windows provide unmatched bay views! At night, catch a movie with the family on your flat-screen Smart TV, which is directly above the fireplace. You’ll find that quite a few games are provided as well: the kids will love them!
The cabin’s living and dining areas are open-concept spaces, which allows ample family time while at Rocky Shores. The kitchen is well-stocked and includes a dishwasher. Enjoy mealtime with your family at the large dining table, which seats up to 8 guests. The vacation home also offers a grill if you’re in the mood for steaks or burgers.
The beautiful master bedroom has a king bed with plenty of closet and dresser space. Two queen beds and the rental’s washer and dryer can be found in the guest bedroom. A queen sleeper sofa is in the living room, and the Kid’s Cottage offers 2 bunk beds. (The Kid’s Cottage, or Bunk House, is attached to the garage and offers an extra refrigerator/freezer.)
The property boasts breathtaking bay views which you can enjoy from your large backyard. You’ll find this rental provides ample outdoor space, which the whole family will love. Your large deck, shaded by beautiful cedar trees, overlooks the magnificent bay.
During the cooler months, enjoy a fire with family and friends around the fire ring. You’ll love breathing in the crisp Wisconsin air while relaxing in your Adirondack chairs right off the deck. And don’t rush indoors just because it’s getting dark - The cabin offers great outdoor lighting!
You'll love exploring the bay with the provided kayaks (paddles and life jackets included). Take a day to enjoy some of Wisconsin’s best fishing too, just a minute from your doorstep.
Potawatomi State Park is located on the bay’s shoreline and boasts 1,200 acres of rolling terrain and limestone cliffs. Only fifteen minutes from your cottage, enjoy a day of bicycling, hiking, boating, or simply picnicking! You’ll be in awe of the park’s captivating views. Make sure you take an afternoon to visit one of Door County’s iconic lighthouses. Perhaps the most photographed lighthouse in the county is Cana Island Lighthouse, which was established in 1869. What a neat way to step back in time!
You’ll find Door County offers an array of restaurant choices. Enjoy a delicious hamburger, cod sandwich, or breaded shrimp while watching the sun set over the bay at Sunset Dining. You’ll find fast food, bakeries, fine dining and more in the area as well. Your taste buds will not be bored while visiting Rocky Shores!

We absolutely loved our stay at Rocky Shores!! We felt like they had everything you needed and more available for use from kitchen appliances to games to enjoy inside or outside! The beds were comfortable with plenty of space for everyone! The house was very clean and I loved the white bedding. Dana was on top of answering any questions that we had! We enjoyed a beautiful sunrise and sunset almost every night right from the back yard!
Owner's attention to detail to make your stay wonderful is very evident at Rocky Shores. We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful, well appointed and peaceful property. The cottage is SUPER clean and there are thoughtful touches/amenities everywhere. Everything is thoughtfully labeled so you know where to put things back in place or what it is intended for. Excellent communication from Dana along with much helpful information about the property and Door County in general. It’s an easy ride to tour the Door County thumb, see the sights and then head back to this little slice of Heaven. We loved our stay and hope to come back in the future! Super hosts!

We really enjoyed our time at Rocky Shores. The location is so quiet and serene. The kids loved the kayaks and having their own space at the bunkhouse. This was hands down the most well-stocked vacation rental I've ever stayed in. I've often found the cutting boards are tiny and the knives are dull, and you get one odd-sized measuring cup. Not here! Everything you need is in the kitchen, even spices! Beds were comfy, everything was clean. Thanks for a great stay! Annie W
Thoughtfully organized home with a great amount of space for relaxing. The kiddos enjoyed their time on the water, using the provided kayaks and paddle board. Location in Door County keeps you close enough to popular distilleries and breweries but far enough away to relax and rejuvenate. Laura F
