Rustic Reflections is a homey six-person cabin located on Upper Eau Claire Lake near downtown Hayward, WI. This picturesque Northwoods cabin rental has two bedrooms, two full baths, and a private dock on the waterfront — the perfect family getaway in Northern Wisconsin.
At 1,500 square feet, Rustic Reflections offers plenty of furnished living space for groups of up to six guests to spread out and relax, as well as plenty of storage so you can unpack and make yourselves at home. Settle in for a month-long retreat on your own private stretch of shoreline.
Rustic Reflections cabin has been newly renovated with a chic central great room that combines all of your social lounge areas and basic living needs. There is a cozy sitting room with a brick fireplace and large picture windows that look out over the water.
Just behind the sitting room is a family-style dining area with a long wooden table and seating for six, and a fully equipped galley kitchen with additional breakfast counter seating for four. All dishes, utensils, cookware and large and small modern appliances are supplied.
Sleeping arrangements: Two of our private guest bedrooms at Rustic Reflections are furnished with a queen-sized bed in each. There is also a bunk room with two twin beds. The Sunroom can be outfitted as an additional sleeping area with two twin air mattresses or a Pack 'N Play.
One of our favorite spaces at Rustic Reflections is the gorgeous sunroom that overhangs the yard with views of the water. Large windows let in plenty of natural light, making it the perfect spot for yoga, meditation, studying, working from home, making art, or morning coffee.
This northern vacation home also has wonderful outdoor amenities, including two kayaks, a paddle board, a canoe, a private dock and a pontoon boat lift. Our deck looks out on the water and is equipped with a gas grill and a picnic table. In the yard, enjoy the fire pit and hammock!
A variety of lifejackets are available for guests to use.

Life at Rustic Reflections revolves around time on the lake — and rightly so. Upper Eau Claire Lake covers 1,000 acres of scenic Northwoods landscape with clear water, with a comfortable sand bottom for swimming and wading. Explore the shoreline with provided kayaks and canoes, or try your balance on the cabin’s paddle board.
You can also feel free to bring your own watercraft and make use of our private dock for boating, tubing and fishing. Upper Eau Claire Lake is known for its trophy musky, walleye, northern pike and panfish. This home is conveniently located just down the road from a local bait shop and convenience store. Best of all, the lake connects to the larger Eau Claire chain of lakes so you can really explore the area.
Venture off property on land, and you’ll find yourselves just 20 minutes from downtown Hayward. This exciting Northwoods vacation hub is home to fun shopping and dining, a can’t-miss ice cream shop, and a collection of family-friendly attractions, such as the Adventure Center for mini golf and go-karting. Rustic Reflections is also one hour from Duluth, MN and an hour and a half from Bayfield and the Apostle Islands.
