As the name implies, this is our artificial cave complete with modern and romantic surprises. Perfect for 2 couples. The Grotto combines one-of-a-kind architectural style with a retro 50's ambiance. The vintage kitchen is right out of "I Love Lucy”. The Grotto has Satellite TV with the NFL and NBA tickets! Privacy is assured even though the Grotto is located below the Bunkhouse. This lower unit has 2 bedrooms with a full size bed in each, fainting couch and fold-out futon in the living room.
We're sticklers for ensuring your stay is the best it can be. Throughout the lower unit you’ll find unique stained glass pieces, rock work, even tin ceilings. Attention fishermen: The resort has fish cleaning facilities, and if you don’t bring your own boat, we have boat rentals: 24' 2003 Northwoods Pontoon with 50 hp Honda motor, live well; Fishing boats with Honda Motor, Paddle boat (rates tab)
Game on! Head to the Waters Casino, or canoe the Brule River, explore nearby Waterfalls. Besides the typical things to do around the resort like swimming, using the playground, walking our plush gardens, exploring the ATV/snowmobile trails (103 acres bordering the Chequamegon National Forest) and staying in touch with free WiFi in the Lodge; you can plan your visit around some annual events:
