This beautiful 2 bedroom, 1 bath log sided cabin is located on the north shore of Dam Lake's Pike Bay. The lake is 797 acres and the largest of the 5 lake Sugar Camp chain. It is right on the lake. You have your own pier and a campfire pit. It is a great location for enjoying all that northern Wisconsin has to offer. The large patio area is a great place to soak up some sun and enjoy the beautiful lake view. This traditional lakefront getaway offers comfortable accommodations for six, with one queen-sized bed, one full-sized bed, and two pull-out sleeper sofas in the living areas.
Fish Tales has an open-concept great room with a cozy sitting room, a fully equipped modern kitchen, and a dining room with seating for the whole group.
The sitting room has a gas fireplace, and the kitchen is complete with a refrigerator, oven, stove top, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, dishes and cooking utensils.
Outside, the grassy lawn slopes gently to the waterfront and a private boat dock. There is also a kayak for you to use, a sunny patio area, a gas grill, and a campfire pit.
The well appointed cabin features an open concept kitchen/dining and living area with a cozy gas fireplace. There is also an additional living room area with another television to enjoy. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need including a dishwasher. There are ceiling fans and central air in the home. Outside we have a campfire pit and dock for you to park your boat. The bathroom has a shower and lots of hot water. There is also a washer/dryer and wi-fi in the home. There is gas grill available for your use.
Fish Tales Cabin is conveniently located at the edge of a 797-acre recreation lake — the largest body of water on the five-lake Sugar Camp Chain. This charming cabin in the Northwoods is close to tons of exciting and unique outdoor activities, from hiking, biking and horseback riding to snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling.
There is great local shopping and dining in the downtown area of St. Germain and the neighboring town of Eagle River. We recommend trying out some of the waterfront dining options!
The fishing is great year-round on the Sugar Camp Chain. These waters are home to walleye, northern, musky, bass, trout and panfish. Best of all, this region is a year-round photo op for wildlife — bald eagles, osprey and an assortment of woodland birds abound, as well as deer and other small game. Catch the perfect shot in front of seasonal wildflowers or fall colors.
