Ho-Chunk Lodge in St. Germain, Wisconsin, is a newly remodeled four-bedroom home with a large deck overlooking Big St. Germain Lake. This spacious Northwoods cabin offers comfortable accommodations for 8 to 12 on lakefront resort grounds with luxury amenities.
This cozy family-size cabin is fully furnished, with a modern kitchen and large living spaces. The central great room is fitted with a traditional stone fireplace. All dishes, cookware, linens and towels are provided (one bath towel, hand towel and washcloth per person, per week).
The ground level at Ho-Chunk Lodge opens onto level grounds, making it easy to walk to the lake’s edge or enjoy the stunning view right from the property. You’ll love the early-morning call of the loons, the fresh forest air, and the calm serenity of a cabin in northern Wisconsin.
Sleeping arrangements: Four private bedrooms at Ho-Chunk Lodge are equipped with one king-sized bed, two doubles, two twins, two queen-sized futons and a twin-sized hideaway bed.
Ho-Chunk Lodge enjoys a convenient lot at the center of Twin Waters Resort in St. Germain. The cabin has easy access to shared amenities, such as Cable TV, a pier with a bench, and onsite water sport equipment rentals. Ho-Chunk Lodge also has its own screen porch, picnic table and charcoal grill.
A 14-foot aluminum boat is available to rent for $20/day or $50/week.
A 15hp motor can be added for $50/day or $150/week.
A pontoon boat with a 40hp motor is available for $175/day or $800/week.
A 16-foot deluxe fishing boat runs $125/day or $650/week.
Twin Waters Rentals also keeps canoes, paddle boats, paddle boards or kayaks, each available for $20/day or $50/week.
Twin Waters Resort enjoys a wonderful spot right on the shore of Big St. Germain Lake, where the air is clear, the days are peaceful, and tons of natural wildlife flits around the edges of the woods and water. Spend a quiet hour watching, and you’re likely to spot bald eagle, osprey, or any number of other woodland birds.
Spring at Twin Waters Resort in St. Germain brings a wide variety of wildflowers, while warm summer nights make for starry skies and great sunsets. Some of our guests’ favorite summer activities include hiking, biking, campfires, swimming, boating, fishing — or an outing to the nearby St. Germain Golf Course.
In Fall, sportsmen flock to the area to enjoy game fishing or hunting for deer and small game in the Wisconsin Northwoods. Big St. Germain Lake is a 1,617-acre, class-A musky lake that connects to two other local bodies of water. Cast a line during any part of the year, and you’re likely to pull in your limit of musky, walleye, panfish, crappie, perch or northern pike. In fact, the Wisconsin DNR lists it as one of the 10 best fishing lakes in the state!

Very nice place! The owner really has the house up-north friendly and well-maintained. Lots of space, very clean and can accommodate a large group.
Simply amazing! This place is a gem tucked away between a stream AND a lake! You are secluded but a supper club is 4 min away and a bar/dock/beach 2 min from that. Full of amenities and cozy as can be! Do yourself a favor and stay here.
This experience was just what the doctor ordered...a very homey and down to earth atmosphere welcomed us to our cabin that sat right on the lake...a panoramic view as far as the eye could see...eagles soaring, water splashing, listening to the winds through the trees and fishermen doing their best to claim their catch of the day. At any rate, time very well spent. Thank you!

Stayed here for the weekend and loved our cabin. Perfect place for our snowmobiling weekend getaway. Clean and enough space for the 6 of us comfortably yet super affordable. Will definitely be doing it again next year. :)

Snowmobiling, ice fishing, right off shore. Good food and services with local restaurants right down the road. Easy access to snowmobile trails. Would rent again.

Love the cabin! Walking distance to the water, very clean, and Kelly was very responsive. The house layout can easily accommodate a large group and it is pet friendly. Our family enjoyed our weekend there and hope to visit again!
Great location very relaxing and quiet!! If you are going to rent a pontoon boat try to do it in advance they may be hard to find. There is a private little beach perfect for kids also a game room. Two restaurants right down the road. Ice cream place in Saint Germain was amazing!! If you are wanting more restaurants and shops to chose from you can go to Minocqua with several things to do!
