The Chippewa cottage is a large 3 bedroom with a Ben Franklin fireplace on Big St Germain Lake. Beautiful lake front view with a sandy beach to swim at and a community fire pit for campfires. The firewood is provided for the fireplace and fire pit. You will have your own pier and right on the lake. It is a great location for enjoying all that northern Wisconsin has to offer all year round.
The cabin has a screened in porch for relaxing without the bugs. We have cable television and a dvd. One queen, one double & three twin beds with firm mattresses. Hide-a-bed in the living room & ceiling fans in the bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped; dishes, cooking utensils, toaster, microwave & coffee maker is provided. The bathroom has a shower & plenty of hot water! Outside there is a picnic table and charcoal grill. We have lots of room for trailer parking right by your cabin.
You have access to the resort grounds and your own private pier with a bench. You can enjoy the lake with over 1600 acres and a small island with a sand bar. There are 2 other small lakes that connect to Big St. Germain that you can access. There are also 3 bar/restaurants on the lake. There are miles of snowmobile, atv & bicycle trails in every direction right outside you door. There are also numerous cross country ski, snowshoeing and hiking trails in the area. Ice fishing is available right in front of your cabin. We offer fishing boat, canoe, kayak, paddle boat & pontoon rentals. There is a game room, volleyball/badminton court, swing set, horse shoes & tether ball. We have a screened in fish cleaning house for you to use.
A 14-foot aluminum boat is available to rent for $20/day or $50/week.
A 15hp motor can be added for $50/day or $150/week.
A pontoon boat with a 40hp motor is available for $175/day or $800/week.
A 16-foot deluxe fishing boat runs $125/day or $650/week.
Twin Waters Rentals also keeps canoes, paddle boats, paddle boards or kayaks, each available for $20/day or $50/week.

We were super happy with our stay here. The cabin was great for two couples and we loved the wood burning stove and being right on the lake. We also greatly appreciated that this cabin was dog friendlyand had everything we needed!

This was a great place for our family! The kids loved the swing set and the kitchen was perfect for making a couple meals. It was super clean too, which I loved!
